Geotagged pictures taken recently
Per note from previous submission I added the new photos I just took at the portal location.
Additional information: As stated previously This is a fake portal. Suspect that it was submitted to get a portal reachable from residence of submitter. The portal description is a lie. It states this was memorializing a recently replaced dead tree making it look like there was a 100 year old tree.
- There were no trees anywhere close to the is location before the development was built and nothing close to 100 years old.
- google street view has pictures from 2015 and 2022 (pictures attached). You can see the same tree, just 8 years more mature in the newer photo. You can also compare to the the photos I recently took and included.
- I emailed Riverton city and they confirmed it was not legitimate. See attached emails.
- The plaque is not permanent. It is a simple stake stuck in the ground.
If anything else is needed please let me know

Thanks for the appeal, @Yllwstn-ING. We took another look at the Wayspot in question and decided that it does not meet our criteria for removal at this time.
