Additional information: The portal was approved, but suddenly removed. It is a trailmarker, registered in the network. It meets all criteria, so I don't really understand why it was removed.

Niantic doesn't want trail markers any more. And as per usual, they refuse to explain why. They'd rather just ban people's accounts.
That's odd indeed, since it's still being included in the guidelines.
