I would like to formally request Niantic remove this duplicate that was accepted in game.
The duplicate was submitted knowing the original had a description and title edit waiting to be accepted, but the duplicate was accepted 2 days before the original portal finally got the correct name and description.
The duplicate was intentionally misplaced to get it into Pokemon go, approx 47 metres away from the actual bridge.
On top of this, there is now an edit in the system to rename the original portal back to its incorrect name, likely because they know their portal is a duplicate that should never have been accepted, and don’t want it removed. The original packhorse bridge portal is a Pokemon gym, the duplicate became a brand new stop.
I have attached the following:
•Photo of the plaque which sits in the middle of the bridge, wide angle to confirm its location on the bridge.
•Link to 360 sphere of the bridge showing the plaque
•Link to the original packhorse portal
•Photo from incorrect location which is approx 47m away from the original portal and real location. Photo also shows what actually sits at this location, flood prevention gates.
•Link to 360 sphere of the flood prevention gates
•Link to the duplicate portal
•Screenshots of the 2 portals - original on left, duplicate on right. The only difference is the photos.
•Screenshot showing malicious edit to try and change the name to its former incorrect name “Banshees Haunt”.
