Powerplants/chemical factories/military bases.

@NianticCasey-ING could you give some guidance on these kinds of submissions.
To me it's just a common sense thing but to some people it's clearly not that clear and obvious.
We all know poi's on military bases have been a no go for quite some time.
But lately i see lots of submissions on restricted area's of chemical plants... next big thing will be in nuclear powerplants.
I just can't see what would make poi's on these kinds of grounds valid. they do not attrack people, it's not a gathering place. safe pedestrian acces is a big questionmark... how safe is access if walking around with a cell phone may cause an explosion. or walking around the area with a phone may be seen as a threat.

I'm not sure Niantic could make it much clearer - the guidelines do state "This includes anywhere that may interfere with the operations of fire stations, police stations, hospitals, military bases, industrial sites, power plants, or air traffic control towers."

Having worked at power plants I can tell you that you aren't going to get near them, at least in the United States. Security and safety. Security because no one wants you taking down the plant or the electrical grid. Safety - power plants are very safe, until they aren't. Very heavy things spinning very fast. High pressure and temperature steam and water. Chemicals. Electrical stuff. A lot of things that if they don't **** you, they might make you wish they had.
I'm pretty sure the same would apply to chemical plants and some manufacturing.
Military bases. I'm fine with waypoints on military bases even though I know I can't get to them. Both those people who in the military and maybe can't get off base, well that's our gift to you. Play to your heart's content.

cool thanks. i must have read over that last part for the last 2 years.
So you're saying I should send an appeal when my request to remove a portal inside a chemical plant was rejected?
