Hi folks,
I wanted to inform everyone about a trending issue that you may see: a falsified Ingress-themed email from the NianticOps team.
This email alleges that Niantic has partnered with an AI learning company and that playgrounds and trail markers would be automatically approved and imported into the Waypoint network without Wayfarer review.
This email is not only false but also does not come from Niantic. We recommend disregarding this email, reporting it as spam, and continuing to submit and review these nominations as normal.

I'm not sure if Casey is just keeping up with the April Fools' Day joke (Photoshopped email) that started in the Wayfarer Global Facebook group or if he actually believes that a fake/scam email is going around.

Someone even asked about it in the Wayfarer's subreddit's weekly Q&A thread.
Well done in clearing that up.
I just wish we had the same level of response time for other type of questions related to Wayfarer, appeals, etc. One can only wish.
