I doubt it, as the place isn't really supposed to be visited by someone right? Like, they wouldn't want people getting in there, as wastewater treatment plants aren't the safest areas.
I can't see how a waste water treatment centre meets any criteria. It's just generic infrastructure that everywhere has.
What criteria do you believe a wastewater treatment plant meets?
I think you're underestimating the potential cultural significant of a sewage treatment plant. (Full disclosure: I don't know where the signage for the memorializing the sewage plant will be so I don't know whether it will be a location that doesn't interfere with operations).

Did you even read the Wayspot Acceptance Criteria or are you just throwing random stuff at the wall and hope something sticks?
A number of the larger ones do have educational signs, visitor centers, and marked trails that would meet the criteria. However, based upon the satellite image, I don't think that the one you're thinking about would have any of those candidates.
Simple answer. No.
The schools brings their students to this place and other similars places to teach them the value of water recycle, because that I thought "maybe It's a good nomination."
Unless there is some educational signage there, I do not think a wastewater treatment meets any criteria in Wayfarer.
Do they have any documentation or education signs? Those would be helpful. If not, you could work with the city's wastewater department to create them.
If anyone was wondering, I reviewed this earlier this week

In this case, this could be valid only due to the sign, not because it's a Sewer plant.
The description about the John Oliver show is fantastic. It's super funny and makes me want to visit the great people of Danbury. Those people must have a fantastic sense of humor!
I found the description to be incredibly disappointing and downright bad. In five years, I'm not sure anyone will remember the story. The supporting information is outstanding.
