Public outdoor barbecues and recycling stations

Hello,
I see a lot of nominated outdoor barbecues when I'm reviewing wayspots. I am pretty unsure what to vote here, what does the criteria say about outdoor barbecues (public ones)?
My second question is about recycling stations, are they eligible? They promote recycling (which is great), but they are pretty common where I live, what should I vote?
Thanks!

Outdoor barbecues might be eligble, but it depends on the individual one. Something under a shelter that has multiple (particularly permanent) seating areas near it can qualify as a community gathering place. One next to a single bench in a park, not so much.
Recycling stations, no. I don't think meet any criteria.

Outdoor barbecues or picnic areas seem pass fairly easily if they have a covered shelter. A simple set of tables around not be acceptable, but adding more structures or signage that prove permanence help out with reviewers.

Per ingress forum response they are not eligible for grilling stations at parks. Has this since changed?
I am reviewing one right now, no roof, no sign... so this one isnt good enough you think?

so this barbequeplace isnt good enough?
Can you please explain what you mean by recycling stations? There is a variety of different ways to interpret it. I don’t want to give you bad advice, but generally if it’s a box or can where people place their recyclables, I’d say no. However, there are places near me where the town “dump” (really the recycling location) is where large number of the residents would come to drop off their trash, but often spend half the day with their friends looking for hidden gems. I might accept one of those.
I would say bigger places with a variety of different boxes, like plastic, metal, batteries, paper, glass etc.
