Hi all
Can someone clarify whether youth clubs are allowed?
I know schools are not (and understand the reasons why) so was wondering whether youth clubs are considered the same

Good question that gets brought up frequently.
In most situations, a "youth club" would not be allowed.
Niantic has previously clarified (although not extended to published guides) that locations that are primarily used for youth events do not meet eligibility and should be considered k-12 rejection (which is also a little misleading).
Below is a link that complies previous "AMAs" that the several years were the sole source of criteria clarifications. "Scouting" organizations got asked about several times with the response typically unfavorable, with the reasoning explained in the link.

In Germany, youth clubs are normally getting accepted in the first try. They are like a playground, just with more educational aspects. And because they arent connected to schools and are 100% benefitial to visit, they would meet the criteria. I believe, we already had a discussion about this. Ill quickly look for the link.

Just because some regions accept things doesn't make them eligible.
@NianticCasey-ING's responses and many examples in the Invalid Wayspot Appeals thread back up ineligibility for centers primarily used for youth.

That clarification fits to the youth clubs in Germany, I would say. Maybe this is why I most likely rate them positive, as long as it is a high quality submission with a good location.
Noted, I can't speak to the specifics of a country I've never visited, although I would be highly skeptical of anything called "youth club" for the reasons shared. Cheers.
Ah, good. I had a youth sports club come up in review earlier. Rejected it on K-12 reasons.
