How are libraries and post offices places to socialise?

There seems to be some oversight here in the way this section has been phrased.

I have a question? Why let level 38 and 39 players nominate. It has more bad disadvantages than good advantages.

    Advantages:

    1. Way more nominations.

    2. Way more voting.

    Disadvantages

    1. WAY WAY MORE FAKE SUBS!!

    2. Most of our LEGIT nominations get rejected because most of these trainers are not very familiar with wayfarer and thus they don't know the guidelines.

I am not telling you all to take the rights away from them. But make things a bit strict, please. Make the wayfarer exam a bit more constructive and hard. It's way too easy.

You need to counter fake subs. We wanted you to look into activities such as people using apps like GalleryCam. But now even you are talking about future use of our gallery to post subs. We wanted you to stop fake subs, but now you are promoting it. Think about ways to counter it, please. In the short term, fake subs are beautiful. In the long run, when people will go to various places and in the future when the different Niantic Games will turn VR from AR. Many communities around the world will get a bad name because of a few trainers who posted a lot of fake subs. And now the number is even more due to level 38 and 39 players getting access to it.

Thank you Niantic. You are doing an awesome job.

    Hello there,

Thanks for doing this frequently. Could you please be more specific (inside the new criteria, like... update them) on what a unique store is and what's the difference from a Generic Store?? Because, right now, every shop is rejected instantly!

Another question of mine is, could you please optimize and check the way Wayfarer works as it is TOO slow after June/July. From In Queue to Voting and then to the desicion... It would be nice to see that be implemented in your new goals!

Would it be possible to make it so an account to not be deleted if a ineligible Ingress account is deleted while an Eligible Pokemon Go account is active?? (https://community.wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/discussion/5115/ingress-lvl2-deleted-wayfarer-statistics-gone#latest) This needs attention as it gives the impressiion that Wayfarer is bad programmed and we lose our badge that is our ONLY reward :)

Last but not least, are you thinking of create a Wayfarer App for Mobiles instead of joining through the Browser every time? Also, are you considering of apply some features of Wayfarer+ as fas as cells and maps are concerned?

    (I use a translator)

Previously approved Wayspots were not removed with only minor changes to the criteria.

However, if the criteria are renewed as in this case, is there a possibility that previously approved Wayspots will be removed according to the new guidelines?

It seemed perfectly clear in previous guidelines that individual basket hoops or single playground structures were not elegible nominations. The basketball court or the playground was, which is never mass produced, even if consisting of mass produced structures. Those structures were duplicates of the main feature (like any slide/swing/fortress of a single playground).

Perhaps it needs to be re-adressed, as it is already a very large problem in existing wayspots, what is considered a feature, and what is considered a duplicate part of that feature.

I think it's great that criteria now seems to be more simple and direct, less ambiguity will make the rules easier to understand for everyone (those who ignore the rules will still ignore them anyway). Maybe not about criteria, but, would it be possible to add streetview or supporting text to picture rating? I've come across some reviews of what appear to be a new mural painted over an old one, did a streetview search to see what the correct one was but could not find any of them as it doesn't show that particular area, having streetview access or supporting text like on wayspot's reviewing would make it easier to select the right pictures or at least more dinamic. Thanks for reading!

In the UK, in addition to walking trails and bike trails, we also have bridle paths which are designed for walkers and horses together. Are these acceptable, and if so, do they still require a named trail sign? (very few of them do).

....includes people, body parts, or live animals as the subject matter; is blurry, over/under exposed, taken inside a car, contains a watermark

    So still considered ineligible.

While AMAs do help a lot on acceptance criteria, there is no definitive guide. I would wish a site where specific questions about acceptance criteria can be definitively answered and referenced. A lot of questions are currently decided based on previous AMAs and community discussions, but newcomers might have no idea if they’re not in a community. Many old AMAs say to some questions "depends". I would want every possible question that could get repeated answered on some new site. Is that possible to create?

How will it get addressed that existing waystops often have photos of nearby waystops attached. There’s currently no way to report bad/wrong photos for legit waystops.
