Poland Challenge - first thoughts

Firstly, the bar is not working. It's stuck at 0 new waypoints even though it's been 1,5 hour since event started.
Secondly, can I please get some nominations from Poland? Since I live here?? About half of submissions received were from Czechia. Several from Germany, what's the point of this challenge then? Also, so many location edits that don't count to goal. Unfortunately lots of very poor nominations but there's nothing you can do about it but keep rejecting. I legit get more location edits than good polish nominations.

I would like to leave my first though to, it would be much better if the event was about reviewed waypoints, not accpeted ones. I know that events main point is to increase waypoints in Poland. But because its about number of accepted waypoints, there is a lot of bad nominations, there is a lot of people who try to abuse this event to push nominations that normally woudn't pass.
Also my advice for the future events like that make it 2-3 times more (or even 5 or more) but change it from new waypoints to reviewed nominations or make it so only nominations sugested before event was anounced would show for review (or mostly them), You can even ainclude in event info, information that potential waypoints nominated after event anounce would stay in queue till end of event to prevent people from abuse.

The bar disappeared for me at midnight, so it seems that I'm not participating. Odd because I reviewed two Polish wayspots recently, but maybe it simply doesn't count anymore? I even played and submitted there this year btw, but I just don't want to mess with my bonus/home locations.
The bar updated and got stuck again, this time at 1292
Also I'd suggest to change "Wayspots" to "Wayspoty" or "submisje", so that it doesn't feel google translated.

my son just had one from Poland. i guess it wont matter much.

Three of my submissions in Poland have been successfully approved in the last 3 days and I guess I still don't count as participating in this, despite technically contributing to the goals of the challenge.
One day left, but challenge was supposed end at 25 Nov at 00:00 am?
well i dont know. this hasnt been discussed much, people largely ignored it, i guess.
i hope Niantic learned their thing out of this test. Congrats on the "reward" that Niantic offered, and upgraded to a "better" reward.

Seriously though, it's been two days (assuming this post doesn't get delayed), and so far no reports of anyone receiving any emailed passcode, or at least no one from our and nearby cities' local communities. The upgrade on the other hand was awarded to everyone on the same day, I think even before they decided to 'bump' the rewards tier.

I haven't got any reward yet, no upgrade. Did review a Polish wayspot and had the progress bar show up on Wayfarer. I'm high enough level on both games.
in the Czech Republic we have most of the nominations from Poland, the reward for their control is cooling. I ask, does Niantic really want these things in the game?
