Improperly Oriented Wayspot Photo?

Hello,

In the new guidelines https://wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/criteria#rejection, under "ineligible photo", at the end of the sentence it says that photos that are "improperly oriented" should be rejected.

What does that mean? What is "improper"? Is landscape or portrait orientation the "proper" one? Or is photo orientation only an issue if it is "slanted"?

I found this info on photos, under Criteria - Content Guidelines - Photo Guidelines https://wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/criteria#guidelines :

Don't submit images that are of the following (they should be rejected):

  • Sideways or upside down photos

Sideways to me means "landscape" orientation, but it doesn't feel right to reject a great submission with a nice photo if it was taken in a landscape format. Is that really the expectation?

Thank you for your input.
