I moved to a new city. Is there someone who can override my primary location?
I moved to northern virginia and would like to be able to review waypoints in my area. I know you can't edit your location, but is there someone in the admin side that could override it for me?

Your primary location is the place where you play. So go outside for a little while and it will update.
If you've used an Ingress account, use it also
ok looks like I am wrong, nvm
This is completely wrong. Your Hometown location is determined by where you play the game, but you can override this yourself by clicking the pencil tool next to 'hometown location' in the settings section of the Wayfarer website. You do not need to change your bonus location and setting it to where you are is pointless, you'll already be seeing nominations from there.
No, this is wrong. When you review, you pull nominatoins from three different areas. The first is the area where you are activiely playing in, set by simply interacting with nearby Wayspots. The second is your hometown location, which reflects the area where you grew up or know the best. And the finally area is the bonus location that you set. You can only set your hometown once (because where you grew-up never changes in life, and it (and your bonus location) should never be the same area where you are actively playing in.
Yea @TheFarix-PGO is right, except for a minor I think you're allowed to change home location once - at least, I was, but it may have been an unintended benefit from when we had the South Korea Wayfarer event.
Current location: you'll see nomination reviews & contribution (edit and photos) based on your current area of play. Note that Ingress play (even when not the primary play/access account) may take priority over PoGO/HP:WU gameplay.
Hometown: this should be an "area you grew up in" and have familiarity with. Nominations may not always be directly in your hometown, but should reflect the nearby region. You will not see edits here.
Bonus: an area you may have lived before, may travel to frequently, or otherwise have familiarity with. You will not see edits here.
General nominations: it's also assumed that you'll see nominations across the entire country you play that have been upgraded. Based on how Niantic zones regions, you may see different countries at locations on the border.
Anyways, @TheFencingCoach-PGO, you should see your location reflected in Wayfarer, soon. An easy way to confirm is if the "Featured Wayspots" reflect your current location. I primarily play Pokémon GO, but I play Ingress semi-daily. I've noticed, as others have, that the Wayfarer location may be outdated days to weeks on "old" Ingress data. If you have an account, I'd suggest logging in and hacking/deploying a little nearby your area.
Hi folks,
Confirming that @TheFarix-PGO is correct in that your Hometown location isn't eligible to be changed as it is theoretically the place that you know the best, be it where you've lived longest, where you grew up, etc.
As you can update your Bonus location once per year, this is how you could change your settings to reflect your new location @TheFencingCoach-PGO.
On the other hand, as you begin to use Niantic apps in your new location, Wayfarer will update and begin showing you nominations associated with your new location even if you don't change your settings.
Hope that helps!
All these posts assume you've set the "Hometown Location" to somewhere other than the town that's the location of your home. If you've not done that then you'll see nominations from just the area you play in.
If you have set a "Hometown Location" that's not the location of the town your home is in, you'll see nominations from there too.
If you set a "Bonus Location" you'll also see nominations from there.
