@Zadro00-PGO & @EcceAngelo-ING have you noticed any change in your nomination emails of late?
None. I had a nomination approved yesterday and did not get an email. The only thing that Niantic cares about is abusive/fake wayspots as that's all I ever see replies to from Niantic reps. Niantic and this forum is a joke.
Yeah I made a nomination on Saturday thru PoGo and the flash message that comes up and says about getting an email, all I could think was "LIES!" lol

I also reported a photoshopped POI last weeked and it disappeared today without a information mail, that my reported POI got removed. Its more anoying when your report get rejected, so you cannot even post it here...
Hmm, I reported a Wayspot that was at a public elementary school (the building used to be a public library that was converted into a school). I reported it almost 2 months ago and haven't received a rejection email (I've checked spam, etc). I wonder if I've fallen victim of this glitch. Guess I can't appeal the decision, and I'm nowhere near the POI any more.
@Gendgi-PGO do you get any emails about nomination you have made yourself or is it just this single instance?
Single issue - that I know of. Maybe a few other reports I've never heard back from.
I know for most people it's an ongoing thing for all nominations.
Any update to this yet @NianticCasey-ING ? It's been 7 months now with zero resolution to this issue.
I tried delinking Google and linking it to my Facebook but still no emails when I make a nomination or a nomination is accepted/rejected.
In short "we're on tae plums"
I very much doubt we will ever get an answer, or even a simple response from staff, which is insane as this thread has one of the highest comments counts in this section, think that speaks volumes on the priorities.
It's now 2/3 of a year since this was posted. Surely a billion dollar company can do better than this?
You'd like to think so, even a further acknowledgement of the issue is too much for staff to be bothered with.
Maybe a too bad being overall rating?
People have theorized it's used when manually reviewed by Niantic with no community consensus, too low of overall score without any 1* or 2* ratings, or manually closed "abusive" nominations.
I'd love for Niantic to give us an official explanation for this. It happened to me a few times and it's always mind boggling.
I've had the same issue. I did some nominations yesterday (mornings, around 9 am est) and never got email confirmation they were submitted and never appeared on my queue on the wayfarer website. Shortly after getting up today I received 2 email confirmations for the nominations I made yesterday (around 5 am est). They have not appeared in my queue of the website but I will update if they do.
This just started happening for me last night. I discovered that I'd had something accepted when I was looking at my keys while recharging and never got the email. The same for something approved earlier today. I also did not get a confirmation email for a submission I made last night.
As illustrated in the email response above, there has been no reason given as to why this nomination has been rejected.
As the title said. You don't see the rejection reason in the e-mail, if your whole Mobile OS isn't switched to English. There is also an list of comments on this issue:

Thanks for the information, we are working on addressing this right now. Just to clarify the question: you ARE receiving an email, just with no rejection reason included, correct? Or are you not receiving any non-English rejection emails at all?

I take this occasion to tell you that also me and my girlfriend (two PoGo users) are not receving in the rejection mails the reason. This is mostly happening for not english account. For instance we are both italians and when we receive italian rejection mails there is never the reason of rejection as for english users.
I no longer receive an email about the acceptance of my portal nomination and the result of the nomination. In the same way, I have stopped receiving emails about the acceptance of my nomination to add photos to the portal and the results of the nomination. Since Wayfarer can't see the status of the photo nomination, I don't even know if it was successfully accepted if I don't get the email.
I submitted a request to add photos for the portal at around 15:15 (JST) on December 17, 2020, but I have not yet received an email acknowledging receipt of my request.
Here is my nomination that goes into in voting after upgraded for more than 14 days without result and suddenly it came back to me rejected without any explanation in it. Please fix this and REFUND MY UPGRADE. Its a mosque in my village for prayer. And even after upgraded, before going into in voting it takes more than 1 months to become in voting EVEN AFTER UPGRADED i repeated.
@NianticCasey-ING Thanks for your response. I recive Rejection Emails im German but never ever saw a rejection reason in it.
Hey @NianticCasey-ING How about addressing the original issue that started this thread? It's been 8 months where I have not received an email for ANY nomination I have submitted. Nor have I received an email when ANY nomination has been accepted OR rejected. Sorry to be blunt, but acknowledging other issues that are unrelated to the OP is a slap in the face. Really rude for you to care more about the thread hijackers than the OP.
I have literally been waiting 8 months for my issue to be resolved! How about actually looking into my issue and following it through?
@NianticCasey-ING just to reiterate @Zadro00-PGO's concern - this is NOT the same same request that was made by @LukeAllStars-PGO.
There are two SEPARATE but equally concerning issues going on. Anyone who does not have their phones (or PGO settings) set to English do NOT receive rejection reasons. It is embarrassing that the staff has not extended this to all languages and has been a known issue since rejection reasons were made available.
THIS THREAD HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH LANGUAGE. This thread was created in May by a user who stopped receiving emails from their PGO account for Wayfarer related activities. You checked in ONCE a month later about it and fixed an unrelated Forum issue of not getting emails for Forum activity. Now you've checked in about an entirely unrelated issue to the original intent of this Bug Report.
Can you please take a step back to read the intent of Bug Reports? You mentioned it being a goal to clear out and close old Bug reports going into the next year, and it isn't a good look to be misinterpreting what this report was created for.

This problem started happening to me a couple of days ago and now it's developed for another member of my community. While there are work-arounds for submissions (but not rejection reasons), if we also are not going to be getting edit or photo submission replies, we are operating completely blindly.
