This has been nominated as a pokemon stop many times by different players. It sits behind Green Wood cemetery. This was just one cemetery but is now 3. Pokemon company does not belief this location is there despite the fact we have shown photos. This area is real and does exist. Please allow it to be a pokemon stop or gym.
It has been rejected due to:
first time low photo, blurry and dark
2nd time no pathway (not true their is a pathway all the way around the sign)
3rd, 4th and 5th time harassments to players (not true, players all want this excepted and are mad it is not) also was said name is wrong as we put ST. Mary yet the sign said St' Mary (mandela Effect)
4th time not belief to be their
We are tired of the excuses. Please except

Nominations and edit submissions may be entirely rejected if it meets at least one of the following rejection criteria:
Ineligible location, place, or object
For the most part, Cemeteries should get a 1* rating / rejection if you follow the new Criteria.
No, it's Niantic which you should dealt with it and no, the community who reviewed your nomination were agree to reject it and no, anything inside a cemetery should not eligible.
This is not entirely accurate. Per the November AMA response we received:
Non-grave memorials and buildings in cemeteries: Eligible or not eligible? (15)
Private places of mourning such as individual gravestones or mausoleums are generally too sensitive to be eligible. However, any locations in cemeteries that have become public attractions are eligible. This would include memorials for famous individuals, historical chapels, and government historical markers.
Not justifying the nomination made of the cemetery sign, just adding more feedback from Niantic.
Actually most cemetery's have the most pokemon stops in town. YTheir website clearly excepts it. Every Cemetery Has been excepted by name/sign in towns. As far as grave stones, as long as it is a importin person, over 50 years or interesting, it's excepted. Their is no other guidelines or rejects on cemetery's except for what was listed. We have 6 stops/ 1 Gym already. The reason it was rejected was fake news. The photo being in correct on title over ST. VS ST' is stupid. The idea it said it's location was not their (seen by Google maps) and it bothering players was just not true. Their was no real reason for rejection and yes they do except stuff in a cemetery just like every where else as long as it it in guide lines.
Show us pictures of your nomination with description in the photos and we can help you. Cemeteries are not eligible currently. Only gravestones older than 50years with a significant figure are acceptable but even then are hard to pass. Some were made stops previously but you should never go off of what has been made a stop before for what you submit. So please help us help you
@AmazingHacksaw-PGO There are many things in the games that were accepted under earlier criteria, including when Niantic was reviewing in-house, that do not qualify now. See the comment above yours for public attractions to see what is currently eligible in cemeteries. A grave marker being over 50 years old is not sufficient, it must be for a sufficiently famous person.

hahaha I also saw that he is writing exept intead of accept but I didnt wanted to be rude xD
It's quite difficult to understand what he says if he's constantly using the wrong words. There are some people in these forums that it's too hard to read them as they make constant mistakes and they refuse to try to fix them, as they are native speakers they think that everyone should be able to understand them.
I also have the problem with a german autocorrection on my phone sometimes messing things up . The most anoying part is that you might need to get approved when editing.
Rather than doing a lot of copy / paste from on-line dictionaries and arguing about semantics, why not do what several posts have suggested of you want help with your nominations.
Post the photo, supporting photo and text of your submission, then we might be able to offer some advice on what you actually submitted rather than what's written in a dictionary.
Hey man, I'm not the OP. It's been a long time since I nominated anything.
Sorry - I get a bit lost with this particular style of "Quotes" on this forum.
For one, I am not using wrong words, the auto correct and text talk chooses what it wants. The spelling has been changed by the Mandela Effects so that just depends which reality your from....
You are the one that hits the "Post comment" button, so you're responsible for reviewing that the text in your comment makes sense and other people can understand it correctly.
If you don't take care about the messages that you post, people won't take you seriously or might give you the wrong advice because they weren't unable to understand what you meant, so just read the text and correct any mistakes.
Many people in these forums are not native speakers and when the sentences that you write don't make sense you're making it harder for anyone of us to help you.
It has already been excepted now that I said something about it
I hope you're not applying to be a Wayfarer ambassador
@AmazingHacksaw-PGO are you also posting as @Hacksawskid-PGO?
Seems very likely given the similar names and the same incorrect grammar (both use "except" for "accept") and both seem to disagree with many of the same posts.
Hopefully they realize multiple accounts are against the TOS for Pokemon Go.
It's against TOS to accuse someone in the forum.
I was not accusing anyone of anything, I was merely asking a question. I initially thought there'd been a name change and was then confused when I found that both profiles were separate :)
My take on this exchange: Current pokestops should not be the basis for nominations, but the current guidelines. Guidelines change all the time.
Since it's already been accepted, then I guess it's resolved.
Also as a non-native speaker, not editing your post is very confusing to read. We're already communicating with your language. At least make it understandable.
I dont like everyone now complaining about someones level of english. Me as a non-native speaker also sometimes struggling with vocabulary knows that it can be hard for people to write. It should not matter how good your level of english is as long as you can understand the context. So dont blame someone for that.
Don't worry, I have no intention to work for free for Niantic.
Maybe you should be more worried about other people that reject nominations because they are not in their native language and they can't skip them.
