Nominating a new waypoint with bad 4G signal!

Hey all,
I have a memorial bench which I'm trying to nominate via PGO. - Of course you have to be at the spot and location to take the photo etc. However, this particular location has terrible 4G signal. I am able to play the game all be it with a bit of lag but when I try to upload the nomination, it keeps saying error uploading images, try again. I tried to keep the nomination on screen until I got to a better area of signal but no joy.
In short... How can we nominate a waypoint, where signal is an issue when uploading the nomination?
Cheers!

Your only other option (beyond keep trying it in Pokemon Go) is to level up to 10 in Ingress and use the Ingress app. Because Ingress agents play in remote areas where there is low signal due to the strategic value of/difficulty accessing those locations, they have to option to submit a Wayspot remotely (up to 20-25km) using images from their photo gallery.
You can create the submission and wait until you have a better connection. That most likely works. Sadly, only for one nomination. Otherwise, you need a eligeble Ingress account, where you can use pictures from your gallery and can submit up to a distance of 25 kilometes. This system might come to PGO in the future. But currently These two posibilities are the onliest options.
It might be worth showing us a photo of this bench before you go to a lot of trouble, as getting a "Memorial Bench" through to being accepted is not easy, most are rejected as "Generic".
then use 5G
Okay, thank you all! - I will just keep trying and perhaps with the info above, leave off the memorial bench haha!
It's a shame they're classed as generic, as it helps a person(s) being remembered as a waypoint... Which I feel is nicer than the 1000 generic postboxes that seem to be accepted daily.
Thanks again!
I am from Germany. You need to be 1 km away from a big city and your connection is starting to fade away. We dont have 5G and in total really struggle with submitting via PGO. I remember standing on a random information sign in mid of a big forest for 45 minutes to try to fight the gym. It was raining like hell and after 45 minutes I quitted and went back. Super frustrating. And fighting is still taking less connection than submitting.
Benches are not eligible in themselves either. There has to be something historically or culturally significant about a particular bench. Otherwise, they are just mass produced objects.
Skip the bench, but in general you can keep it on your screen till you get to a better area. I've submit a few places that had a good enough signal to play, but not for uploading a new location's photos.
For the benches they actually are eligible for some reasons this is what niantic said about benches
I have got the same problem
But i think i finally got it how i need to do it you need to put the location and pictures after that you drive or walk with good signal you can see that if the white dot/ball is not turning then you can write your title etc and upload it
It doesn't always work because this weekend i went to a trainstation which was further under the village i did what i said i was in the middle of the village and still got that error maybe niantic can do something about the system because it is very annoying
For example saving a nomination progress when your at home or something
Use a satelite phone.
Use a friend who climbs up a tree to get receiption and shares WiFi.
Use a second phone on a pole that shares WiFi.
Use a drone carrying a phone that shares WiFi.
Use a helicopter.
Use a broadband router and/or repeater and some long cables.
In short, use your imagination :)
But Niantic says they could be eligible if they're significant and connected to a notable person. That doesn't mean that they all are, so make sure you're reasonably confident it will go through before spending too many calories on getting it nominated.
Again, thank you for all of your comments and help! :)
Queue it up and then submit it when you get to an area with a better signal
I just heared about a tip, that you should put your phone on your radio antenna while the radio is playing for a better connection
It's possible to buy a cell phone signal booster that's actually effective, though it may or may not be legal depending on where you live. This isn't a particularly cheap solution but it may be useful if you plan to be in lower-signal areas frequently. And by booster I don't mean one of those stupid stickers whose sole purpose is to extract money from your wallet.
Hardcore Ingress players have figured out all sorts of crazy ways to get signal in places where there is little to no signal... nerds are gonna nerd. (-: Some of them are one-time purchases, some require complicated setup, and some cost a whole lot of money. Trust me when I say that you don't want to start feeding hundred dollar bills to the wallet chicken just to submit things in areas with poor cell service.
Would it be against the TOS to send the photos to a friend with a Level10+ ingress account and ask him/her nominate the POI? Third-party photo?
I don't think that would go against the spirit of the TOS when it comes to third-party photos. The usual definition for "third party" is someone who isn't involved in a transaction. If they use your photo to submit on your behalf then technically you're both involved in the submission. If it was a stock photo they found online then the photo would come from someone not involved at all and that would be considered a third party.
So I think it would be perfectly fine to do that.
Another option would be opening the settings of your camera app and selecting a lower quality for the pictures. High quality pictures are often a few megabytes heavy and require a good connection to be uploaded but such a high definition is not really necessary for the purposes of Wayfarer. I'm not certain if it can be done on all camera apps though.
