Stadshart Zoetermeer has been removed from Pokemon GO for no apparent reason. Curiously, the same portal in Ingress still exists. Stadshart is a large shopping centre and the Pokestop was located at one of its main entrances. it only gets removed when someone edited the location in a different s2 cell. Did the location changed?
Location hasn't been changed and also it's the only object in its level 17 cell.
Maybe the owner has requested its removal due to conflicts with Pokemon players obstructing the access to the normal clients.
The POI would have been removed in all games. In my city, 250 POIs on our big cemetery got completely deleted out of all games. I have never seen a deletion in PGO only, as long as it has nothing to deal with the cell rules.
Not always. There have been instances of Pokestops being removed due to complaints, but Ingress portals remaining on their gameboard.
It just depends on how the removal request is done. There are so many examples where only the pokestops have been removed but not the portals in Ingress.
