Wayfarer Poland Challenge: Rewards Now Live

Hi folks,
I'm happy to let you know that I received confirmation from the Ingress and Pokémon GO teams that the apps' respective rewards are now live.
For Ingress Agents, please check your email address attached to the Ingress account you use to access Niantic Wayfarer.
Pokémon GO Trainers will be able to participate in the reward event on Friday, December 18th from 10:00am local to 17:00pm local time.
Thanks again for your participation in the challenge and we look forward to bringing you similar events in the future!

Why are the other countries not participating in this event? Don't we deserve it?
That was a first try to get away the backlog of a specific country. There will be similar events in the future with different locations.
As @LukeAllStars-PGO said, this was one of the first events of its kind. We are learning from this how to make it more effective for other locations and also having discussions internally about when and where to launch similar events in the future.
Don't worry, there is plenty of effort going into this for the future.

I know I statred another thread with this, but as it was left unanswered, I'm posting this in this main thread also. If you have to, please move/delete this (also sorry).
I took part in the reviewing process during the event in November (fully completed some reviews), so I should have been able to take part in todays event (increased fighting type spawn rate, shiny Mankey). Unfortunately I was not and I don't understand why. Could someone maybe help? Why did this happen (also I saw on reddit that I was not the only person with this problem).
@NianticCasey-ING, sorry for pinging directly, but I see you are the most knowledgeable person here in charge of this event. BTW I also wrote to in-game support in Pokemon Go, but they didn't answer.

I know that it's probably too late for anything (so I'm expecting nothing in it for me), I just want someone in there to realize that maybe not everything went ok with this event. Thanks :)
I'd like to see feedback from ANYONE who actually got the email for this event in time to participate? Did anyone actually get one. I know several people who took part in the review process (myself included) and none of us got an email about the event.
I have never received an email with Ingress rewards.
