Cooldown activated when rating to fast

If you rate portals to fast, you will recieve a cooldown, indepenended if you rate by rules or not. This should not be happening.
Those ratings triggered the cooldown:
Reproduction: Review more than 10 portals in a span of 10 minutes.
If the intention is to increase time per review: Lock the rate button for a certain time before being able to submit a review is a far better solution then locking the account for 4 hours.

first of all, 10 minutes and 10 reviews do not trigger a cooldown.
the exact amount of time is only known to Niantic.
The solution you mention is very good; lock the rate Button with a timer to make sure people do not rush thru.
If you are a very very good reviewer, you should have a lower time till it unlocks.
Yeah, i agree. The number varies. Sometimes there are some pretty clear canditates, and if you happen to get some easy decisions, the system will punish you without reason.
Its a valid point for niantic to increase time per review if needed, maybe they can even tie the countdown to the submission itself or something.
But for me as a User its a bug and it should be fixed fast, as it basicly renders your wayfarer account useless for the time being. Nothing more.

Over time, we gain experience and evaluate the indications with greater agility and speed. We shouldn't be punished for that.
Seeing as you already have WayFarer+ installed, you can set a timer to lock the submit button for a specified amount of seconds. It's under review settings, labelled: "Lock submit button for: ... Seconds"
However afaik spending about a minute per review should not cause a cooldown, so the cause might be different in this case.
i think i had "Springbrunnenfeld" also today, and also rejected that
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, @SirKingIke-PGO! Reviewing more number of nominations between short span can trigger a cooldown in your account. To avoid this, it's best to take some time and review each segment on its own merit. Basically, you might encounter a cooldown if any sort of anomaly is detected, regardless of your performance rating. Please ensure you follow the Candidate criteria while you review and aren't using any third-party tools/plugins or shortcuts. I hope this helps!
@SirKingIke-PGO , judging from review history pic, you should use 2* for reject & 4* to accept to have access to more variety of star rating to avoid "Star pattern detection Cooldown"
