Title of the Wayspot: 5 Storey Tower (Arlein Nga Sint Pagoda)
City: Yangon
Country: Myanmar
This portal submission is eligible because the place is a historic religious place with easily access by anyone, the structure of the Tower is unique, provided rich historic information and supporting information. Every person in city of Yangon, Myanmar know this place. But local wayfarer reviewer abuse using authority of act to reject without ground research.
Here is portal discription:
The Arlein Nga Sint Pagoda in Insein Township is one of only three Myanmar pagodas with a maze. But where the other mazes are mainly for show, finding your way through the winding labyrinth that winds around Arlein Nga Sint is no easy feat.

Hey mods, rather than moving this 'appeal for rejected nominations' to the archive, would it better to move it into Nomination Improvement section instead?
Im sorry but the location is pretty misplaced. It looks eligeble but you could have submitted it at the correct location.
It's easy to correct location when reviewing, because of the bit location change is depend on place where photo took. Not pretty misplaced.
They didnt move it, he posted it in here. Since this category is new it isnt locked. If it got moved, you would see a tag "edited by NianticXXYY"
Could you please tell me how to move to "Nomination Improvement" section?
Well, I didn't notice that. I thought you can't post anything in archived section.
You can't, but you can copy your post and post it in Nomination Improvement section instead.
I can't say it's why it was rejected, but your description appears to be copied word-for-word from a 2016 article about the pagoda on the website Frontier Myanmar. For that reason alone, a rejection for this nomination is correct. From the Wayfarer list of rejection reasons (emphasis added):
Ineligible text or description
Title and/or description seems copied and pasted from other sources, includes emojis, tags, or personally identifiable information such as codenames, personal names or initials, or addresses.
I think you should resubmit with an original description in your own words. You can absolutely use that article as a source of information, but don't just copy the text from it. Also make sure to place the pin on the pagoda itself (you can move the pin manually prior to submission).
Hey @wisemouse-ING! I've now moved this discussion to 'Nomination Improvement'. Thank you!
Do you want me to re-write the history in my own word? Ok, I've already re-write and submitted again. But this way is not always convenient, I think. Sometime we just need to reference wiki or some article on web or local history. If we doesn't describe local treasure in that way, local newbies will not know which should be portal or which shouldn't.
Niantic can't allow copyrighted works to be used because the copyright owners would be able to sue Niantic for using their work.
You always have to write the information about the Waypoint description in your own words. If you want to reference a Wiki or on the internet to provide more information to reviewers, these should go in the "Supporting Information" as this text does not appear in game if the Waypoint gets accepted.
Thanks, I know, I gave supporting info links for the first submission. I did change some words, but it doesn't enough. Now, resubmitted with own words. Thanks all for your comments. But there is much more issues in local community when reviewing. Which makes us bad gameplay and portal network.
P.S. First time was rejected with location issue. Actually it's close enough to the tower. Let's see the second time :)
