Hi,
Can any one tell what is text length of Supplemental Information Field in a Wayspot Submission?
I usually do a good research and submit good information for make lives of reviewers easy. I would like to know the length of feilds such as 500 chars or 1000 chars.
Please share if you have other length of Title and Description also.
Thanks in Advanced. Stay Safe.

Same as the description length, somewhere around 250 characters.
The description maximum is 256
The supplemental information maximum is 1000+
I just tested it with the character-counter of WF+
Defenetly beyond that. My last submission has 361 chars in Supplemental Information Field.
But reviewers only see the first 250 or so characters.
Do you mean scroll bar or tail is cut?
Tail end is cut off.
That is a bad UI, if the front end is accepting 250+. 😥😥😥😥
Have you experienced it your self?
@NianticCasey-ING, your input on this with current limitations would be really great help on this issue.
This is terrible UX. I have nominations in voting that have important information regarding street view that has been cut off.
I recently look a screengrab of this nomination's Supporting statement. Most of the text didn't appear, but I didn't capture the preview. I had to tap the text to bring this box up. It looks to be somewhere around 1000 characters.
The Ingress app allows for 300 characters in the supplimental information field. You can edit that on the Wayfarer site to have more, but reviewers only see the first 300 characters. So what you see in your Nominations screen, is not representative for what reviewers see.
The screenshot that @Gendgi-PGO posted, reviewers don't even see half that text.
I think this one needs to go in the bugs forum then. How sure are we on the 300 and 1000 numbers?
I tried typing in as many characters as possible in the field in the Ingress app, and after reaching 300, you can't type anymore until you remove some characters.
To verify the number while reviewing, we'd have to come across an example that exceeds the max number while reviewing. So I am not sure about the actual number there.
I need to be more clear, but I can't edit my original post since it will go back into moderation.
That was a nomination I reviewed. When the review first showed up, I could see only part of the text. It cut out after maybe a third of the characters but included an ellipse (...). I believe if the additional text is added within Wayfarer, that's what happens, but if all the text is added in the initial nomination, it actually is lost. Anyways, clicking on the text brought up that box and allowed me, the reviewer, to see that entire wall.
Can someone from Niantic clear this up as to what reviewers can see. Because I just went through using a URL shortener and edited nominations with links in their supporting info.
Found another screenshot that shows the ellipse I was talking about.
I also saw a nomination where Supporting was cut off without the ellipse.
I think we brought up the character limits before, but since posts have been purged by moderators.
@NianticCasey-ING any official insight?
The extra information viewing maximum is at 280. Just saw someone having one of my submissions but only showing up to 280 letters.
I wish this limit would be increased. It is not enough space to include any additional history and details about the nomination, why it meets the criteria or any recent AMA changes, and how the reviewer can confirm the POI's real world location, if not visible by satellite.
Playgrounds and churches don't really need it, but it would help with trail markers and great, local restaurants.
