Third one is a playground though, depending on the title and description I would have given it 3*, because the photo is needlessly taken from afar, but that's something the local community can fix with an edit. Of course, that is if the person submitted the playground and not something else.
I got one of kids holding stuffed animals inside their home imploring the reviewer to give them more stops. Especially alarming since the address is shown.
We have reviewed the report and have taken actions on the Wayspots " Old sewage work stone", "Sad dog stop" and "mini zoo pak haji regents park" and Wayfinders in accordance with our policies. For the remaining nominations, we are unable to locate them. If you have additional evidence like the lat/long or the nominated address please resubmit with it and we’ll take another look. Thank you!
As above, thank you. When reviewing, I'd already rated the "Old sewage work stone" submission as a 1* nomination. I don't think a lot of these are malicious or faked nominations, though they are ones that make you say "why this, for goodness sake". I think a combination of "lockdown" and of new submitters having no idea about submission guidelines is a factor in a lot of these.
There was a comment elsewhere in the forums about seeing a rubbish, incorrect nomination being submitted, while on the supporting photos and the "nearby" there were plenty of obvious "that's a good, no problem nomination" in view. I think one thing these examples do emphasis is the need for people to be required to look at the guidelines and pass as "new submitter" test before being allowed to submit Waypoints, similar to the way new reviewers are required to do so.
Another example of a submission that is not malicious, but indicative of a new submitter who has no idea of Wayfarer criteria and submission guidelines. New submitters like this need education and to have to pass a "What makes a good submission" test.
4 poi descriptions directly referencing pokemongo or what type them you can catch at these locations (water)
2 poi main images showing the inside of the lazy submitter's car
uncountable amounts of temporary signs for "heros work here" for covid stuffs
uncountable amounts of poi that were not in the location of the thing they were submitted for (up to a few blocks away on one)
3 poi that was claimed to be in a park, but actually in a cemetery (road signs, ect)
2 grave stones for random people
3 poi's submitted at a school (high school or under)
2 Amazon fulfillment centers
1 "antique" fire hydrant (lol)
And this is why I completely stop reviewing over and over again.
Unsure why Niantic can't get some of that machine learning to filter out the junk from wayfarer. Some super basic scripts could even do it. Just a ungodly waste of time
This one was titled "Weeb Church". Description said something about spreading the faith. Sir, that's a Suzumiya Haruhi poster. I guess you could argue about being an image of a "goddess", but that's clearly some anime posters in your bedroom. And the picture is not even oriented the right way.
Just an fyi to people don’t block out the address thats on these garbage submissions. Niantic has looked through this thread and were able to action something about the bad submissions. By blurring or crossing out the address you are basically protecting the people who you need to get corrected.

Sigh.
Hey, it's Blastoise out there!

Congratulations on your first mini 'zoo' ('kebun binatang') in front of your house!
* rejected under "other rejection reason" instead, actually being a small lot filled by plants..., and some critters.
yes i know it is in the text
BUT:
In Dropdown 1* it says "Schule" - Which is, as you can guess, my fellow english speaker, "School".
In the Text it says: Also applys to Kindergarten etc.

Oh wow, that's unexpected.
That was unexpected but nice. Are you okay with us posting these kind of nominations here with the addresses showing then?

Did those submitters get banned from Wayfarer? I find these nominations entertaining to be honest lol, not malicious 🤣
I believe Niantics intent is to try and free up the voting system from such bad nominations every one complains about.

So someone's been submitting this generic mailbox as an "official post center" for a while. No big deal, many trash nominations out there.
But now it seems that it's been upgraded...
Yes, those are paper drawing that's been scotch taped to the mailbox. (Here's the full size photo)
Well the system isn't a total loss. The one I posted got denied. I was in the town a few days ago and went and looked lol.
Or this one. people just love to fool around
Someone was a little festive for the holidays lol

congratulations, you cant even write your own city. Your incompetence is too big for WF.
...Jesus, this was actually accepted.
Guess all you need to make a wayspot is some paper, markers, tape and a pair of scissors...
Disabled and can't reach pokestops? 1* abuse for you, still not getting a pokestop, thanks for the agreement :D
