A freeze was activated.
Hello everyone,
I feel frustrated and upset about receiving the message "We detected some irregularities in your review behavior. Complete the review of each referral assigned to you. You will be eligible to resume reviewing referrals after approximately 24 hours." We already know the reason for this to happen and the recommended thing is to have to wait a few minutes before submitting the nomination review, the point is that for many nominations that we are evaluating it does not take more than 1 minute to discover that it is not eligible.
This freezing system is very flawed and unfair, I don't want to be judged for irregularities in my review behavior as the problem is that new requests are so bad and do not need much time to be evaluated and submitted.

You are propably reviewing too fast. Try to take your time with reviewing and wait at least 20-30 seconds even on quick 1* nominations.
This is a long time to review a request that we know is not eligible, this time system is very flawed and causes us to review fewer requests, as we can perform better and have a greater number of reviews that we can submit per day.
But.. thats the system. Since I am waiting for like 20 seconds, I never recieved a cooldown anymore.
System that can be improved,
using the time it takes an appraiser to conduct a review to define irregularities in his review behavior is frustrating, to say the least.
What would you suggest? Baring in mind that the solution can't be prohibitively manpower intensive or technically difficult to implement.
If a review is rated as 1 (not eligible) the time required to submit could be ignored. Whenever I get a freeze it is in reviews that are not eligible.
I worry with that would cause those reviewers only looking for upgrades or medals to just one star 200 submissions per hour. They would probably still get a 30-40% agreement rate. The only metric that we know for sure is used to calculate the reviewer rating is time spent per review. If one stars are left out of that, what would they have to lose?
That would never work. It will just decrease the quality of the reviews. Nobody does review for fun (of course in some way), more likely to recieve upgrades for no priority ares.
If you don't do revisions for fun, what purpose are you doing?
It can be funny for a while, but it starts to get anoyiing fast. Many wayfarers stop reviewing after like a month. Only the ones who really care and also have some fun on it will remain.
I normally get a cooldown after about an hour of reviews. That’s my cue to go to sleep.
If you’re getting cooldowns after very few reviews, you probably are going too fast or not reviewing properly.
Take it a bit slower, and if you’re getting the “prove you’re not a robot”, take the time to fill out the “what is this” even when not required. Try not to use the same rejection reason when you type one out.
I'm reviewing correctly, I only freeze on reviews where they are rated 1 which I don't need several minutes to decide and submit.
