Wayfarer account does not exist anymore?

I cannot log in to my wayfarer account anymore: the account does not exist. Has been working fine the day before yesterday.
I only log in through my gmail account in pokemon go. Never used trainer club or facebook.
My wayfarer badge on pokemon go is still there.
Could you please check what the problem is @NianticCasey-ING ?

I find it difficult to get this support around here and not to mention that you don't even want to enter the name of the account/email that is not accessible.
Just checked and i can log in again just fine. Not sure if anything has been done to fix this.

Hi there,
We checked into your account and there doesn't seem to be anything that would have deleted or reset your progress. For next time, it would be good to double-check that you're logging into Wayfarer using the same information otherwise it would appear as though your account has been reset.

I also had this issue and after months being locked out of wayfarer I found out why. Hope this helps.
