Hi folks,
We'll be doing some server updates today from 11am - 1pm PDT. During this time, new Portal and PokéStop nominations and edits will be temporarily offline. This includes submitting new photos for Wayspots as well as the Ingress Portal Scanning feature.
Thanks for your patience, I'll update once this thread once the maintenance is complete.

@GeckoNova1021-PGO this has already been done/is in progress. over the past days my community got back a ton of older submissions (also upgraded that were stuck for half a year or longer). since this update apparently targets submissions in any kind and you can still review, i guess this won't affect the duration of reviewing
Thanks Niantic! I still see submissions from the Redacted version of Ingress, gotta get rid of that limbo once and for all :)
I also received around 20 answers to the Portal Edits i submitted which was awesome :) thanks for that too!!
Thanks! I hope that the old nominations are revised soon. The work that the community makes is very important, principally in rural or semirural places without active Wayspots.
@NianticCasey-ING Anyway you can make posts like this show up as an alert at the top of the forum similar to alerts on the Ingress Forum?
The known issues section is at the very bottom of the forum and this news is likely missed by a lot of users.
@FioriParty-PGO are these the ones with 1 photo and no text?
@Rodensteiner-PGO yes, older submissions from Ingress only allowed 1 photo instead of 2. I´m not sure why they have no description apart from the title though, must be very old submissions.
If I recall correctly, [REDACTED] didn't require a description. Just a picture and a title. No supporting statement, no supporting picture. So, you could enter a description if you wanted to, but you weren't forced to do so.

What ever you guys did now I have to wait an additional 14 days for new submissions. Thanks for making it longer than normal!
that was a problem that has came up the week before. it is not just since their maintenance.
sadly it has not been fixed yet.
it is very bright weather here in germany, nice temperatures but i cannot go out (not because of swine flu) to submit, because niantic has taken away my submissions.

My submit stuck in queue 10 days. Why???
Pokestops que tinham sido apagados no mapa Intel do Ingress voltaram a aparecer depois dessa atualização no Pokemon Go apenas. No Ingress, os portais continuam deletados. Alguém sabe o motivo?
Desde el día de ayer no me salen propuestas para calificar, alguien sabe porque?
Ademas tengo 5 propuestas aceptadas el día Domingo 31 de Mayo (Antier), pero aun no salen en pokemon go y en ingress ya salieron. Ya revise y todas están en celdas vírgenes, por lo tanto deberían salir no?
