Regarding November AMA clarifications - hiking trails and biking trails

"The new criteria lists hiking trails and biking trails as eligible examples under a great place for exercise. Are there any additional requirements for these locations to be eligible (e.g. survey markers, trail signs or other man-made objects)? Do they need to be named trails or paths?
- While this criteria is much more inclusive than before, there would still need to be some sort of visual indicator of the Wayspot. This is because you're dropping a pin on the map and since trails are long and linear, you'd want to direct players to a safe location somewhere along that trail that's easy to find and safe to access. This would apply to trail markers, survey markers, trail signs, etc. "
Does this mean we should accept all trail markers even if there are thousands exactly the same, within meters from each other all along the trail. Or do the mass-produced rejection criteria override?

In short, those who don't like trail markers try to justify using "mass procuced" as a rejection reason. There are several longer discussions of the topic, latest is this one

Thanks. These types of discussions is why I am asking Niantic for a clarification. Doesn't seem to exist in that post neither?
No, despite requests to do so.
.
The latest news were in the November AMA. But there will be a lot of qustions on this topic for the next AMA.
I originally asked this question as a comment on that post on the same day they posted it. I thought that was the best way to ask for further clarifications.
Since we still haven't received any clarifications on the questions there someone thought it would be better to ask as a separate question. I guess this works as bad.
Niantic has been dodging this question for a while. Several threads with hundreds of comments but not a word from Niantic.
As for "bike paths", there is one niggling little detail that should also be considered. It was brought up in the pre-3.0 days' AMAs, but this still holds true.
ALL wayspots are supposed to have "safe pedestrian access". Any bike path that precludes pedestrians (ie. "bike only") can still be rejected under "safe pedestrian" rules.
MOST such paths are shared-use, so this will likely only come up exceedingly rarely.
