Always putting dogs and bikes in the pictures?

One thing I’ve noticed every now and then is that some people try to specifically add something recognizable to the photos for the photo discs. We have one person in our town who always puts his bike in the photos. And then there are others like this where people add their dogs. What do you do in these instances?

The bike really doesn’t cause any harm honestly because it doesn’t contain any personal information unless it is front & center in the photo then I would honestly only see that as a distraction from the submission itself. The submitter with the dog could potentially be reported for having a live animal in the photo honestly. I have nothing against it but I would understand reporting the submission for this reason as well. And also, I see it this way; what if the submitters dog is accepted in a photo... someone finds out where this submitter lives & steals their dog. Just a thought. Animals should not be front & center in photos. It’s okay in the supporting photo for the submission but that’s it, for me
I don’t find the bike to be offensive unless it is personal & gives away the submitters identity somehow. The dog on the other hand I would 1* & report as a live animal because a live animal should NOT (“in my opinion”) be front & center in the photo. Otherwise without the dog this submission is an easy one to accept for everyone I assume
Theres a rejection reason for live animal. I just use that especially when the animal is posed like it is. So i reject them if i see it. For the bike though there really isnt a reason unless it hinders the actual nomination picture to reject it. Unless the focus is on the bike then maybe rate it down for bad photo
You could reject for...
... Animal
... temporaily
... bad picture
... abuse (just in theory)
I think we should focus more on the object of the nomination. If that is ok, and nicely represented on the picture then the nomination should be accepted. The fact that there is a dog or a bike in the picture doesn't matter as long as they are not part of the subject. I suppose a bike in the picture of a bike trail will do no harm, and a dog in the picture for a dog park is a nice illustration, but both are not relevant.
As others said :
-Dog or any other animal : rejection for live animal, unless it's a submission for a dog park where it's near impossible to take a picture without dogs
-Bike : if it's not the main focus, that's not a big deal.
Also, be careful as this could be an "attempt to influence reviewers" (by letting some locals know who is the submitter) and this would be a case of abuse. But "one" time is not enough to say that it's an abuse, buf if you see a few submission with the same dog, or the same bike, then it could be an abuse...
Thanks for flagging, @907PhilNKids-PGO. We have reviewed the report and have taken necessary actions on the Wayspots and Wayfinders in accordance with our policies. Thank you!
The bike could be a tell to other players to rate that nomination with 5*.
@toniukupaoni10-PGO the only thing is we aren’t technically allowed to try to influence the way a wayfarer votes. But I understand what you mean
