Chain gyms

Dunno if this has been asked since the new guidelines, but what are the thoughts in chain gyms? For example in the UK we have pure gyms, the gyms, warrior fitness etc. And while they are chains, they encourage exercise (I mean, that is literally their main thing). Personally, I dont think cities would need them so much but maybe for suburban areas they would make very good submissions, for the aforementioned exercise but also they would be places people would meet up with friends

I'd probably give one a 4* or if it's a unique gym a 5*. Not sure if other reviewers would approve a chain though. Maybe in Supporting Information section mention the criteria under "A great place for exercise" that says "Or something that teaches or encourages us to be our healthiest selves".
Even if it could be "A great place for exercise", remember the Rejection Criteria : "A generic business, chain, or franchise that is not locally unique".
About the local uniqueness, from NianticCasey :
Therefore :
-If it's a chain gym in a big city where there are a lot of chain gyms : I would not give a high rating for that submission.
-If it's a chain gym in a rural area where it's the only (or very few) gym + the submitter is giving appropriate information about the importance of this place for the community : I will give a better rating.
Agreed
That was my thought process too, in the middle of a city no point as there would be loads, but out in the rural or suburban areas id Mark them 4 or 5 star as they are probably the only gyms for miles
