When I submitted this edit, the title of the wayspot was simply "Sleeping Bear Dunes," and the current title that was chosen is certainly better than that. However, the official name of this overlook is "Lake Michigan Overlook." This is which is point number 9 on the Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive, as seen above on the official Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore 2017 Visitor Guide. Changing its name to this official name would also help avoid confusion with the nearby "Sleeping Bear Dune Overlook" wayspot (point 10 on the drive).
For additional confirmation, please see these two "virtual tour" pages on the National Park Service website. It doesn't have the map but contains additional information on this point of interest as well as a photo of the viewing platform.
