Little Free Library Rejections

I had a neighborhood Little Free Library rejected because "The real-world location of the nomination appears to be on private residential property or farm." The location is clearly in a parkway right next to a sidewalk so I'm at a loss as to what I should do differently. Please help!

I would suggest you keep in mind that there are a lot of differences in types of property across the country... it benefits you to be over-explicit in describing where your point of interest is located to show that it isn't on private residential property. I live in Ohio, and here I would consider that to be located on what we call someone's tree lawn, which IS part of their property. I would have rejected it for the same reason.
If things are different where you live, it's good to make sure you explain it so that reviewers don't make incorrect assumptions.

Luke/Purp: Great suggestions. I'll try being more specific and note that parkways in Chicago are considered public property, not private.
It is in the easement which is suppose to be treated as part of the private residential property it is next to. So the reviewers weren't wrong in rejecting it. Easements can take two forms. Private property that the city/county as a right to place sidewalks and utilities on, or city/county property that the home owner is leagally required to maintain as an extension of their property (ex mowing the grass and clearing the sidewalk of snow or leaves).
It's really a grey area because @TheFarix-PGO , you're not wrong. Honestly because this particular one is located in the tree lawn and not on the actual homestead property, I would have been tempted to vote it up. If it had been on the other side of the sidewalk on the homestead portion of the lot, I would tend to vote that down. The sidewalk easement while owned and maintained by the homeowner is intended for public use which to me is what really makes the different here.
I take "no Wayspots on private residential property" to literally mean "no Wayspots on private residential property". Not no Wayspots on private residential property with exceptions. Niantic had also previously mentioned to treat easements as if they were part of the neighboring property. I don't think that has changed.
This rejection seems correct provided the reasons. Even if its kn an easement niantic has already came out to say it is included in the private property rejection reason. Wouldn’t waste any more nominations on this as you’ll get it rejected for prp.
Under "help>what makes a good wayspot" it specifically says "To be clear, nominations should be rejected if their real-world location appears to be on private, single-family residential property or might encourage people to go onto private property (e.g., because the real-world location is at the end of a private driveway)."
This appears to fall into the second half of that statement, and I would also have rejected it.
Niantic has stated multiple times in past AMAs that regardless of local laws the area in front of houses should be considered PRP.

40m within a private residence doesn't automatically mean you should reject it. It just means you have to make sure you use extra scrutiny to make sure the nomination isn't part of the PRP. Though a LFL being within 40m of a PRP and obviously being put up by the residents of the PRP would make it a reject for me.
I wish the criteria on the review website were more explicit. I read on here, nothing within 40m of PRP but I don't see that under rejection criteria on the voting site. Here I read anything located on a military base is an automatic 1* but it's not universally understood if it is not listed as a reason for rejection.
That is true on the "40m" so I apologize for that.
Most LFL tend to fall on the **** of grass between the road and sidewalk of a private residence and Niantic has stated on multiple occasions that these verges, right of ways, boulevards, easements, or whatever your area of the world calls them should be considered part of the private residence despite what the local laws may state.
