If I am reading the news correctly. There was a sponsorship that was for 500 Gamestop stores and lasted from November to February. Sponsored stops are handled differently from player nominated stuff.
The photos are clearly 3rd party photos - they have been taken by photographing an image on a PC screen.
Why is this an ineligible Wayspot nomination?
Third Party Photo
Use for nominations where the photo was taken from a third party source and is not an original submission.
Photos like this are an automatic 1* rejection. You have to go and take your own, not grab them off Streetview or similar. In this case, no need as the image is of a store belonging to a chain - which is again ineligible.
Being a third-party photo isn't the main problem with the nomination, though. I always prefer to select the most severe rejection reason when given the chance. In this case, it would be "Doesn't Meet Criteria" or as it is labeled now "Other Rejection Criteria" because the store simply doesn't meet the eligibility criteria and is a generic business chain that is not locally unique. Those are points one and two of the Rejection Criteria and are not something that can be fixed with a resubmit.
And yes, the "temporary" was a joke on my part as GameStop is a dying company to begin with.
The supporting photo doesn't really show where the nomination is. Doesn't help the reviewers verify the real-world location at all.
And the fact that it's in front a of a fire lane might make some reviewers think the spot could obstruct emergency services (though this wouldn't actually be the case and wouldn't be a good reject reason.
(I mostly just wanted to say things others haven't said.)
As other mentioned, you must make photos using your own phone camera by walking to this location, not making photos of computer screen with streetview of this place. And on second photo (support photo) you must show safe acces to this place and this place (your nomination) must be visible on it too.
Without getting your full nomination and rejection from mail it's all we can tell you now.
Considering most of my review scores seem to be "Do not meet Criteria" due to the regular progress of road signs, footpath markers, postboxes and garden gnomes across my screen, I like the opportunity to make use of a different rejection criteria now and then, adds to the excitment of reviewing........... 🤣
No they weren't taken off of a scteen I just screencapped them off of my phone instead of uploading the photos because I had deleted the photos of the nomination after submitting But I got the answer I was looking for. Generic store.
Next time you can just go to your wayfarer account and your nomination pictures are there. Would save you from the 3rd party photo criticism or include this information in your original post.

Picture taken from a computer screen and it doesn't meet any criteria whatsoever
It's the most generic of businesses. That's why.
I'm almost tempted to say temporary and leave it at that. :P
