Too many people get hung up on the "Commercial play areas; review them as you would any business" or maybe simply don't like that it's inside a shopping center.
@ZinkyZonk-ING you may also get people hung up on the photo, especially since you're mentioning it being difficult to get pictures. Remember that indoor nominations are allowed, but are also more likely to be rejected. Make sure the photos and nomination itself focuses on the play area and not the shopping center and you use every ability available to prove the location is actuate.

October 2019 Wayfarer update:
Do coin-operated machine play areas in front of stores and in malls make acceptable portal candidates? This is similar to the restaurants' play area question - if this is a publicly accessible play area in the mall, yes. If it's part of a commercial business, no.
January 2020 Wayfarer update:
Outdoor and Indoor Playgrounds
My opinion:
They are allowed!

This is my latest submit. The centre updated it's website to include the playground so i screen shot that as the 2nd pic.
Each submit has explained it's a free shopping centre indoor play area. Folks have to do their job and look at all the info!!!! Can't just be the initial pic. Which does have a commercial auror.
Argh screen s h o t is a rude word?

@ZinkyZonk-ING I wonder if you can get photos from inside the location of the actual play equipment? Many people will see what looks like a storefront (outside walls, signage, etc) and assume that there is either a paywall or it is a generic business playplace.
The wording used still sounds "generic businessy."
Title: Kid Zone Playplace
Description: Indoor play area providing a safe indoor location. Features padded floors and fun sized animal sculptures.
Substantiation: Indoor play locations, such at this one, provide value to the community by providing a safe place to play indoors during incriminate outdoor weather. Safely and permanently located inside of Calamvale Central, this is openly accessible.
I know children's play areas are eligible, but I try and avoid focusing on the children part, and using mall hours and focusing too much on the mall sounds more like you're describing a generic business.
Best option I see it here, to help him get this approved is ask the employees to take a 360 photo and submit (currently under maintenance due to Covid-19), therefore place the pin exactly on the photo-sphere. This would them visualize the equipment and so on.
And as @Gendgi said, focus less on the mall and more on the Playground area/equipment.
Personal opinion about the screenshots you've attached in the comments, 2nd and 3rd tries were very bad and often resulted in easy rejections, assuming it is hard to see the indoors from the map view/SV.
4th was better but still the Photo had reflection of someone in the outside (not a huge problem but can lead to rejection, webpage print screen and telling reviewers what to do is a no good for yours POI).
Good luck on the re-submit, you have our condolences 🙏
This is a cropped pic. Playgrounds are currently closed here in Australia
I don't think this could change anything, looks like someone playroom in the house, get it?
There were many hints on how to make your submission easier to get through, but it is a hard one because is hard to tell what is it based on the picture and SV probably.
Indoor playspaces are not unusual the one in the shopping centre over the road took 4 tries over a year. It is of concern to me that the text of the these submissions is being ignored. Hoping i'll get it through with the link to the website.
