Wayfarer India Bonus Rewards

On Reddit there are reports from players where it’s already 10 AM local time getting their Smeargle Bonus from tier 1. They are reporting not seeing any Murkrow. Can you please look into this. It’s either the tier 2 rewards weren’t turned on or the Murkrows are locked to India.

Thank you that helps rule out part of the problem. More likely Murkrows being locked to India. @NianticCasey-ING

"the chance to catch Shiny Murkrow" is not implemented. I was looking forward to it, please fix it soon!

2x Catch xp is active, but zero Murkrows.
Also Smeargles active.
I'm not having any of the bonuses myself, my Ingress and GO accounts use the same Google account. I did review a total of 38 nominations from India during the event.
Already opened a ticket with the support. Just hoping that I'll receive the passcode, the GO event is not so important for me.
@NianticCasey-ING I hope this is made right for those who participated, no one outside of India is seeing the promised increase in Murkrow spawns in the wild.
Same problem here. Double XP and Smeargles are working fine but absolutely no sign of a Murkrow spawn for the past 8 hours of the reward period. The pinned announcement states that the rewards bonuses will be available to "all event participants, regardless of location" so my assumption is that Murkrow spawns would not be restricted to India only.
No sign of an email arriving with the Ingress bonus passcode either.
Also no response to the problems raised on this forum and I see no acknowledgement on the support Twitter account either. I really wonder why I continue to believe that Niantic has a capability to deliver on these events.
Same here, got double XP and a bunch of Smeargles, but didn't see any Murkrow.
Didnt see any Murkrows here either, was the reason I participated.
Went out for 2.5 hours running two incenses and didn't encounter a single murkrow. Going to go out again if sun sets in game with enough time left until 8PM hoping I'll find some in "night time" as dark spawn chance increases.
I wasn't that worried about the Murkrow as already got shinies, so didn't run an incense. (Smeargle worked and got the box.)

Yup nothing for Ingress rewards here. Don't think I even got the pogo ones??
Has any ingress player received the e-mail with the reward code yet? I have the PoGo bonus (except Murkrow) but nothing for Ingress yet.
I have no email in Ingress.
@NianticCasey-ING Any update here? Really frustrating no one outside of India got Murkrows promised. Also no one seems to have gotten their Ingress Rewards emails yet either.
I also never saw a single Murkrow during the event, despite getting the bonus box/boosted Smeargle/2x catch xp activated.
Also haven't received Ingress rewards via email yet, though it could be because I'm not high enough level in Ingress to access Wayfarer through there yet. Though I use the same Google account for both my Wayfarer-eligible Pokémon GO account and low level Ingress account, so I'd assume they're linked.
@NianticCasey-ING Hello, still looking for a follow up why we weren’t provided the full rewards for the wayfarer event. No one saw any of the promised Murkrows. Also no one has received the passcodes for Ingress rewards.
@NianticCasey-ING While I’m thankful that you reset my location, I’m still wondering as well what you are gonna do about the Murkrows not spawning and not receiving the Ingress code.

Good Morning, I hope you are well today. Is there any chance we could receive a response on this issue today. A lot of us participated in the India Wayfarer Event and had a blast doing so. However, we didn't get the rewards we were promised.
Pokémon GO Players who participated did not see a SINGLE Murkrow during the event window, despite boosted spawn rates being promised.
Ingress Players haven't received their Passcode emails yet.

Many people say they received their Ingress codes but I didn't receive anything yet.
@NianticCasey-ING I successfully got the 2× catch XP bonus in Pokémon Go, but like other people I did not see any Murkrow. I also didn't receive my Ingress passcode yesterday when they were emailed out. I have checked my junk folders and such, but nothing is there either.
@NianticCasey-ING I participated in the challenge and received the Pokémon Go rewards with the exception of Murkrow but I failed to receive an email containing the passcode for the Ingress rewards.
@NianticCasey-ING I’ve contacted customer care on both games about not receiving the Ingress code, and I still haven’t received the code yet. I’ve also checked my spam folders and such to no luck.
@NianticCasey-ING further to my previous comment about not receiving a passcode for the Ingress rewards, I've been in touch with Ingress support in app, and they seem to be under the impression that I shouldn't be getting the code because I use Wayfarer through Pokémon Go (even though I play both games) and I wouldn't be a high enough level to access Wayfarer through Ingress (despite my Wayfarer progress still counting towards my medal in Ingress).
In your post announcing the challenge ( https://community.wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/discussion/13507/introducing-the-india-wayfarer-challenge-16-26-march ), the tier 1 rewards section states that we'll receive 20 resonators and 20 power cubes at agent level (up to L8). Given that Ingress agents need to be level 10 to access Wayfarer through Ingress alone, the fact that the announcement specifically states "up to L8" heavily implies that lower level agents can indeed qualify for the rewards in Ingress if they have access through Pokémon Go but still play both games, as if this wasn't the case, there would be no need to specify "up to L8", given that all agents who qualified for the passcode would be receiving level 8 resonators and power cubes due to them being level 10+ anyway.
If it was only intended that Ingress agents who have access to Wayfarer through Ingress would receive these rewards, then the wording in the announcement post was misleading, but I'm personally thinking it's more likely that the support department are making a mistake here rather than the announcement being wrong. Any chance you can please help to fix both this and the Murkrow situation?
If there is an issue with getting specific spawns, would it be possible to send out passcodes for a couple of incense and some balls. People can use them during spotlight hours or something. I think this month has 3 shiny eligible pokemon. Most people I think prefer the red balls for their gotchas. I delete the red balls myself. Just trying to come up with a solution.
