Poor Rating Test?
I am an active wayfinder and have been supporting since the beginning of 2019.
My rating was always "Great", occasionally "Good" for a short time. And now I've gone from "Great" to "Fair" within a week. That made me think. I have now only rated 10 wayspots a day, took my time, etc. and have now managed to achieve the "Poor" status. I am now even offered to repeat the test. I don't feel like I'm being taken seriously.
Since I had never sunk so low, now here are my questions:
1.) What effects does this status have now? I heard I don't get any points for upgrades and my badge is not making any progress, correct?
2.) What do you advise me now? Should I take the test again? (I don't really want to.)
3.) Is it really possible to ascend again without the test?
4.) Can you be banned from Wayfarer as a result, similar to the people who did not pass the test earlier?
I would be very happy to receive information on the subject. English comments are welcome. But I would prefer Germans even more :)

1) Your agreements won't count towards the Wayfarer badges in PoGO and Ingress if you have a "poor" rating. You should still receive progress towards upgrades. Your reviews also won't carry as much weight in the final decision of whether a nomination is accepted or rejected.
2) You can take the test again if you want to get out of poor. The test is much easier than regular reviewing. But if you don't care about the badges and only about upgrades, there's not much point.
3) It is possible to improve your rating without the test! You may want to reread the criteria on the wayfarer site to make sure you're reviewing correctly. Maybe reach out to local reviewers in your community with good scores and ask for advice or what common mistakes you may be making!
4) I don't know this one, someone else will have to answer it. I don't think so, but don't take my word for it.
1.) Okay, I got it.
2.) I'm actually more concerned with the badge than with upgrades. In my area, upgrades are superfluous as submissions are completed within 2 weeks - but processing suggestions, on the other hand, take over 1 year ... :(
3.) It is possible? I'm curious. I will continue to do my best! I just can't imagine that all of a sudden I'm doing something differently than before.
I detest my "local" community. There it is always only "more, more, more" - "too few stops" - "accept everything, no matter what it is ... more!" ... these are idiots 🤮
4.) Okay, let's see if someone can answer that with certainty.
3) It's possible, but it can take effort. I recommended reaching out to local wayfinders to ask for advice since culture can be different from country to country. A lot of common mistakes for English speaking wayfinders is rejecting playgrounds, approving things on schools (for kids younger than university level), or not understanding the 5-star rating system.
Generally for stars:
Ouch, yeah then I all I can recommend is talking to people in your area with good ratings and ask them how to review trickier nominations in your area that you always aren't sure about. You clearly would have a grasp of the basics if you've been reviewing that much.
You could try poking Niantic with a stick until they do something.
What I've seen recommended in other posts is to only rate the clear accept/reject decisions. If it's an iffy one, then skip it or wait for it to time out and come back to rate a new one.
you Are only allowed to take the test twice so avoid doing it as you might really need it at a later date.
Any submission that is not a clear accept or reject skip or take a break. This way you should avoid disagreements especially if locally other reviewers are sometimes not applying rules.
Oh my God. You are a genius. I've done exactly that now and made it out! I'm back to "fair". I now do it slowly and step by step. I think I can do it. Thank you!
Not true. Having an agreement rate above 50% is quite good, there's no need to skip difficult nominations to reach it if you consistently review according to the guidelines. I don't think there's anyone here that's much over 65% agreement rate and that's enough to be solidly in great for years.
Even with a fairly consistent 65-66% overall agreement rate, I've still had my rating vary from "Great" to Poor" to "Great" again over the last year.
I thought that was related to a bug, wasn't it?
Well, it bugged me for about 3-4 months in that case, that's how long I was stuck on "Poor" before getting back to "Great", with no change in reviewing "Style".
