Are signs for trails good nomination?

So ingot this rejected, it's a signpost for a trail and has the trail name on it, its maybe not a trail marker but I figured this was better than a wee sticker on a bit of wood

Trail Markers are great for wayspots.
However, the angle of your primary photo makes it kinda of look like a traffic sign. Is there a way you can angle it to make it look less traffic-sign like? It may help with future nominations.
It's not much to look at but it's not something I'd outright reject.
Description could do with a bit more work though, and maybe a clearer photo, but definitely not something I personally would say no overall to.
I had a trail marker rejected today. Mine is a wooden post in a large park (it looks nothing like a traffic sign) and it got rejected, for the second time. Will appear in discussion section once approved.
Have you got a picture of the trail marker? If it's not named, that might be why.
There's a lot of "public footpath/bridleway" markers that people try to pass off as named trail markers, so assuming that the marker is for a named trail, maybe the photo didn't show that the marker is part of a named trail and that's why it got rejected?
There is a picture of it incoming (will be in its own topic). It's a large wooden pole, about 2/3 my height. Engraved on it (in colour) is the name of he trail, along with the trail symbol for that trail. Other trail markers for the exact same trail have been approved in other parts of the park. It's not even as if they marked it as "could not be found". It's just about visible on the satellite photograph - and others, that are obscured by vegetation, have been accepted anyway.
@GearGlider-ING as you can see from the supporting page, the sign is like twice the height if a person, I've submitted with a different angle but it is a hard reach unfortunately
Certainly not invalid. I'd add to the description and supporting info though. e.g. for title add "The Thomas Muir trail runs from X to Y and is named after Z who..." for Supp info maybe put "named trail marker (not street sign)" and a bit more info on where the post is located. What were the rejection reasons?
