Submission stuck In Que with Upgrade for over a year

I have a submission (Church with obvious signage) submitted on January 24th 2020 that will not go into voting for some reason. After it sat in que for a couple of months, I put my upgrade on it. Well over a year later, the status has not changed. What do I need to do/what is going on?
Any help is appreciated!
Edit: forgot to add most submissions begin voting within 1 week in my location without an upgrade. Upgrades go into voting in 24-48 hours if no sooner*

Sure its upgraded? Not on "upgrade next"?
Maybe also post pictures of it here or use the "report a bug" category (might not be a bug but super sad when an upgraded nomination is in quere for over a year) and hope for a reaction.
Thank you for the suggestion, Luke
Here is the pic. Also, I have tried to delete the submission request, but I get an error every time
its on upgrade next, so there is no upgrade on it. This is propably working as intended.
Any idea why I can't delete the submission?
Probably it can't be withdrawn once you've put upgrade next on it. You're now committed to reviewing to upgrade it next, before being able to upgrade other nominations.
A nomination with "upgrade next" cannot be withdrawn. You must either review to earn an upgrade to apply to this nomination or else wait for it to "naturally" resolve.
Either way, I would suggest removing the church website from the description.
Yes. I would say it's actually probably a good thing (in a way) that it's still in queue so you can still edit it. URL in description is a very clear rejection reason.
That said, for this to actually be upgraded, you would need to review enough submissions to earn 100 agreements to earn an upgrade. Whether you do so or not is up to you.
I removed the url from the description as advised. Thanks for the heads up! It had been so long since I submitted it (it was among the first spots I submitted), I had forgotten url's in the description are against the rules.
I also thought we always had 1 free upgrade to use at a time. I was afraid I would never get the free upgrade back if this submission was never resolved.
Thanks again for setting me straight 🙂
Just to update: after removing the url in the description a few hours ago, it is already in voting. They must have a filter for url's there! 😁
Final update - the submission was accepted as a waypoint!
Thanks again to everyone that helped!
