Answered: Misspelling in title

***Got the answer, no more comments please. Thanks!***
Here’s one for you!
Nomination is a soccer field in a local public park. I was set to approve on this basis.
However, I paused when I saw that the park name had a critical misspelling, identifying it as “Kieth Park” instead of “Keith Park.”
I’ve looked the other way at countless misspellings. When the error is in the title for an otherwise acceptable nomination, I am unsure. Yes, it can be edited out later. However, I have a problem letting this go live with a major error.
I decided to exit instead of skip or submit a rating. What is Niantic’s call on this? Thanks.

I would not reject (1*) an otherwise eligible sumbission for this kind of error. As you said, it can be edited later.
Niantic guidance (https://niantic.helpshift.com/a/wayfarer/?l=en&p=web&s=how-to-review-wayspots&f=title-guidelines) :
Do submit titles that are:
Official titles, if known
If no ‘official’ title, creative titles to distinguish it from other nearby Wayspots
Don’t submit titles that:
Include real names, initials, codenames, or faction/team names
Include emojis or emoticons
Include HTML, URLs, or other code language
Are unrelated to the Wayspot in question
and (https://niantic.helpshift.com/a/wayfarer/?l=en&p=web&s=how-to-review-wayspots&f=reviewing-a-wayspot-nomination):
Title and Description [...]
Give high ratings to:
Official titles (if available) or creative titles/descriptions (as long as they add value to the Wayspot)
Titles and descriptions with correct spelling/capitalization/grammar
Titles and descriptions that include the artist’s name (for murals, statues, etc.)
Give low ratings to:
Titles and descriptions that do not match the Wayspot
Titles and descriptions with player names or game-specific information (artist names are acceptable)
Titles and descriptions with promotional content, URLs, or HTML tags
Titles and descriptions that are derogatory/offensive
Titles and descriptions with emoticons or emojis
Descriptions copied directly from other sources
Regarding “give low ratings to titles and descriptions that do not match the Wayspot”: This seems the best solution. I understand that 1* on any of the rating areas serve to reject the nomination, rather than 1*ing the entire nomination in the first rating area.
Thank you, @Kroutpick-PGO !
there is no reason to give reject it due to that error.
The star rating in title/description doesnt even make sense according to what the guidelines ask for.
at least, it should be a simple question, "does the title/description fullfiles one of rejection criteria?".. no.

This isn't a critical spelling mistake. It is a simple transposing of letters and it doesn't create an offensive or unreadable title. Take a star or two off if you want, but this should otherwise pass.
Does "Kieth" have any special offensive meaning in your language?
I'm trying to understand why you say that it's a critical misspelling.
Like others said, this is a very minor typo, one that's easy to overlook when you're nominating. I'd maybe deduct a star or two if the description isn't too good either, but this is definitely not something I'd reject a valid candidate over.
A local player can easily submit an edit later. This is such a minor typo that half the players wouldn't even notice it, since it even contains all the right letters. I agree it's important to have waypoints with correct spelling but I wouldn't reject an eligible nomination because of a mis-spelling - that's what the edit feature is for.
