Thanks for posting it :)
This is perfect example why I and some other players here mentioned there should be given more information to PoGo players before they can submit and why nominating process in PoGo must be changed, as many people that can nominate don't understand system and don't really understand rejection mails too.
I'm not syrprised why this person is angry or ignore rejections she got in mails, from this video alone it looks like she understands that people review nominations, but still thinks it's Niantic staff that do most of reviews here. As she didn't get proper information from anywhere before she could nominate, it's perfectly understandable. It's Niantic job to give submitters proper guideness before nominating, and this is badly done job.
She found wayfarer after her first rejection but she still didn't get to the point of reviewing herself (she didn't do the test, she stopped at reading criteria and maybe watching video), so she still don't know what reviewers see when they got nominations, and why some of her eligible nominations were rejected for mismatched location. Some might be bad reviewers rejections too, but it's hard to say just from this video, I think just some of her nominations aren't visible to reviewers on streetview. It looks like she also didn't look at other pages in wayfarer, as she would find all her nominations and would see that some of them are still in voting or in queue (as she mention she don't know why she didn't get mails for her 2 other nominations).
To sum it up, if she got nice explanations about nominating, reviewing and wayfarer just before she could nominate and she would seen at least one nice example what reviewers see when they got nomination to review, she would get much better results in nominating POIs and she wouldn't be frustrated why her nominations were rejected or why she wait so long for any answer.
She's only the example, there are thousands (I think even much more) submitters like her who didn't get proper guideness to nominating, and because of that we have many bad nominations in system too.
There must be improvement from Niantic side so people get information they should get at start in game and not have to look for it yourself after many failed attempts at nominating - some people will find wayfarer for it, and some find groups that made they own rules and will give them false informations. There need to be clear informations for all players of all Niantic games that is avaiblable from games itself, it's really important thing to do.
this video is why there is too much frustration and so much coal/badly submitted 5* noms from the pokemon go community.
lack of submission education by niantic.
wayfarer is more known with ingrss users due to their history with OPR.
while from pokemon go, in anywhere you dont see a direct information about wayfarer or a place to see how your nominations are going..
I absolutely concur that there's a lot of frustration because Niantic doesn't do a very good job of educating submitters.
While I maintain that a submitter test is a bad idea, I think it would be wonderful if Niantic had a required "Submissions 101" page that people had to view before they submitted anything. It would talk a little bit about what makes a good candidate, link to the criteria, provide guidance on titles and descriptions, explain why the supporting information is important and what should be in it, and give them an outline of how the process works. A lot of people would just go to the page and click the button but at least they'd know it's there and the ones who cared would start with more information.
Most of the reviewers don’t know how to review..
Niantic has done terrible job on exaplaining the system, teaching and advertising it.
I know plenty of level appropriate players who don’t know they can nominate and review, or don’t know how it works so they just waived it.
another example is the S2 cells that Niantic doesn’t bother to explain to the players (or even confirm it) and many of them don’t know why their nominations accepted and not appearing in game so they quit nominating and reviewing.
