Will the system let us decide what to upgrade soon?

By that I mean I wish automatic upgrades would not be a thing. Sometimes I need to do a photosphere in order for reviewers to see it and I don't always feel like doing it on the same day.
Beside I prefer using upgrades on nominations I feel the most confident about.
I think we had a talk about it before, but I do not know if the system will be revamped soon or something.

Thank you. I seem to remember hearing about revamping the voting system. While I understand it will take a while to do so. Will you tell us what to expect in the future? Some people feels like the "cultural" rating should be changed to fit the new criterias. Will we have the same options?
