Some advice to help me preventing stupid rejection reasons on this
(known from this discussion: https://community.wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/discussion/12370/enviromental-centers/p1)
I got a pretty cool object Id love to get into the games. However, the object now got rejected five times because of stupid, wrong reasons:
1st try: bad picture / private property or farm / not permanent
2nd try: not permanent / private property or farm / doesn't meet criteria
3rd try: not permanent / private property or farm / doesn't meet criteria
4th try: private property or farm / not permanent
5th try: contains personal information about the submitter / private property or farm
I have tried different descriptions, photos, extra information. Even edited a supplemental picture with text and evidence (a piece of paper). However, the stupid rejection reasons become more strange every time.
I first tried it with the focus of the historical aspect, then that it is now used as play equipment and a nice object for a snapshot. Both didn't work.
Just to show my text:
As a play equipment/photo motif:
This historic tractor is an IHC McCormick D 439, a permanent exhibit at the Karlshöhe Environmental Center. He used to transport hay and straw. When no further use was found for the tractor, the tractor was left as a play tractor and photo motif. The tractor also still has its old name ****, which can be recognized by a metal plaque. The tractor model was launched in 1962. Today it is a rarity.
As a historical object:
This old tractor is an IHC McCormick D 439, which used to be used on the old Carlshöhe poultry farm. After the farm was converted into an environmental center, the tractor was left as a souvenir and photo motif. It is a popular object, especially for children. The tractor also still has its old name ****, which can be recognized by the metallic plaque. The tractor model was launched in 1962. Today it is a rarity.
Always used something similar to this as extra information:
Permanent tractor at the ENVIRONMENTAL CENTER Karlshöhe. NO FARM! The tractor is visible on the 3D images on maps. Otherwise, compare the barn. It is used here as a PLAY DEVICE. The tractor is an absolute rarity and one of the last of its kind still in existence.
Supporting pictures should not be the problem, the object is shown and the location can get verified via G-Maps.
I also tried these two:
Nothing helped. Especially the "Farm" rejection reason is annoying and wrong. I told several times that this is an environmental center which pleases the people to come and visit the center.
There is even a maps marker existing at this location:
Any advice would be great. Thanks for reading!

Try using the information board as the main photo instead of the tractor itself. Still might be rejection, but it will make lazier reviews look past the "just a tractor" first impression.
Ich wuerde eine anderen Titel waehlen. zB Traktorenaustellung: IHC McCormick D 439
Alter Traktor **** klingt halt ein wenig schmuddelig
Are you still trying to get this wrecked tractor into the game. How many times have you posted about it complaining it gets rejected "every time". 5 times now?
TBH I think this would decrease the chances of it getting through. First of all, it is only a piece of paper. Secondly, it looks super old and is only pinned on the wall. All of this would change the main rejection reason from "farm" to "not permanent".
The main rejection reason is fast clicking and not paying attention to the extra information. Honestly, it takes 10 seconds to find out that this is an environmental center.
Yes, I need it for one of my 6 planned "highlights", available as ingame missions.
The tractor will never get accepted because it isn’t permanent. I agree though, it is old & has some history. I wish I had more good news that could help. Sadly though, I agree with @LukeAllStars-PGO. I wish it had a permanent sign. Regardless @TheRaider123-ING i wish you the best of luck
It is permanent. The sign says it got used until 17 years ago. Since then, the tractor was placed exactly where it is now. It is fixated on a tree stump and two stones blocking the wheels on the back.
It's probably more permanent than other objects that are POIs.
Of course, a sign would be great. However, id more likely reject the sign rather than the tractor.
I mean I wish the sign could be permanent as it looks like it’s a laminated piece of paper held by a couple of push pins on the side of the barn.
The sad part is although the tractor is like that it can still be moved because it isn’t held down by concrete, chains or anything else staking it into the ground. Therefore it still isn’t basically permanent, which sucks to say the least because it’s a cool nomination. For me though, I have lived on a farm & have knowledge about this. If the tractor could start up; the stump, nor the stones are holding it in place permanently. If it could be driven, it could pull away from the stump & drive over top of the stones. There’s just no way around it & it’s almost deniable regardless.
If a permanent sign was in the ground nearby the chances of me accepting it would go from zero to hero. I like the nomination even more since I have extensive knowledge on this specific model of tractor. It is older than a lot of nominations that we accept. Older than the “50 year” rule. I just wish I could say even more good & have less bad news
Maybe an option would be to make the whole area "picnic benches + tractor) as the POI photo and submit it as "picnic place with play tractor". Like this, the object would be more on the permanent picnic place and not on the (maybe not permanent) tractor. This might help.
As others said, tractor don't look like permament thing here, no matter what photos you make. If it was on a real pedestal and not on wooden stump then it would look permament, but as it looks like now, it looks like it can be taken from this place at any time. It doesn't look like it will get improved any time soon, so you don't have much change getting it accepted any time soon. It will be rejected as not permament every time, that's the sad truth.
The only chance of getting it accepted would be if owners of this place ordered for it much better looking informational board or plaque and attached it in a way it would be permament - attached to the wall or ground in a way it won't be easy to move. You would nominate this board/plaque and it will be eiligible. It's much easier to get it a proper board/plaque than to attach tractor permamently, but if owners don't do it, then you won't get better luck with it.
Here is some example what eligible boards/plaque I'm talking about - and look how are they permamently placed too :)
I think the problem lies with it being only on a tree stump and having rocks block the tires. It takes all of 5minutes to remove those and move the tractor. Those objects **** temporary placement
Maybe like this?
Yes, I also think this is a main problem too. Tractor is a vehicle, it was made to move, so if it's only blocked with some rocks and tree stump, it's very easy to make it moving vehicle again, removing rocks and tree stumps take about minute to do. It's just need to be attached to the ground or something else in more permament way. As it's highly unlikely to happen, only nice new plaque attached in permament way might get reviewers to accept it.
I really reccomend to find something else in this area to nominate, if you really need to get a new POI for ingame mission, as this one really don't have much chance of getting accepted, if owners won't make some improvements to make it more permament. It's just not the best thing to nominate.
Don’t hate me for saying this but I think the barn itself has a better chance of being accepted. Especially if it is historical
with evidence possible. Otherwise, I also don't see a chance there.
Agreed 100%
If you submit the picnic area yes. Would be a 5* from my point of view.
The 5 photos of just the tractor got it rejected. Worth a shot to include the signboard IMO.
A tractor alone does not meet the criteria. You might want to look over the guidelines again before you submit your next nomination.
It does as a historical object. A new tractor would be ineligible for sure.
Just because the tractor is old doesn't mean it is a historical object. And without a signboard, it would be impossible to back up the claim that the object has any historical significance.
Would agree. However, I totally get that je doesnt want to use the sign. The chances of the sign alone would be 0.1%.
Id submit the picknick area with the play tractor as a whole.
The tractor will never be acceptable because we as the reviewers can’t prove that it is permanent because regardless it can always be moved. I very highly recommend taking @LukeAllStars-PGO advice or submitting the barn or something else. I hate for you to keep trying & keep getting rejections
If I remember it correctly, old farm equipment was mentioned as an example of an acceptable wayspot if it is on display in a museum/park and is historic or visually unique. Given the criteria overhaul, it is now up to the submitter to make a case for this tractor eg a place/object to learn about increasingly mechanized agriculture in the 60s and 70s.
I was only able to find this outdated, external source (https://pokemongohub.net/post/guide/pokestop-submission-guide/) from 2019, perhaps someone else is able to find something a bit more relevant.
Way more eligible than a survey marker.
If I came accross this I'd approve it. But try adding a photo on google maps with information. If they can see it and the info board from google maps they may be more likely.
Worked. Thanks for the tip :)
Congrats :)
