♦️ ♦️ Invalid Pokestop about to become a gym. Help! ♦️ ♦️

This historic location has gotten some new stops lately, and qualifies for a new gym next time the system updates. (This week.) Unfortunately, the oldest and highest rated pokestop here is for a feature that was demolished years ago. Locals have tried to get this removed, but google maps still shows it being there as it hasn't updated in a few years either, and so nothing has been done.
But now that it's going to be a gym, the situation is more urgent. Trainers will raise up their gym level for no reason, as its removal will eventually go through, and lose their progress. Removing this stop now won't negatively impact players, as it will open space in an S17 cell for a currently hidden stop. (Ironically titled "The Hidden Gardens") Can a mod please help? The automated system won't cut it this time.
