I can only assume this was removed for no pedestrian access? But there is clearly a crosswalk to the object and you can touch the object. It meets all criteria. Thank you

It meets all criteria.
I see this get thrown around in nominations a lot, these days, and I'm not sure I know what it means. What do you mean by it meeting all criteria?
Standing in the middle of a crosswalk isn't safe pedestrian access. Also is it supposed to look like your hand is touching the object? Cause it's clearly not.
I just remembered the name of the wayspot. Waterside Vista Tile Mosaic Heron.

I just wanted to check is there a different cross walk not visible from the google street view that directly accesses this area? I was bored so I looked up the coordinates and only see 1 cross walk near this area and it doesn't go directly to the area the Mosaic is on. Since there is no actual way to get to the area without leaving the cross walk and walking in the road I'm not sure there is actual safe access here.
Photo of street view below. Sorry If I am missing something here.
That's very funny, keep reaching @SCMsPacMonz-PGO you almost have it.... not
Do you work for Niantic?

Nope, was just asking if there is another crosswalk directly to the area the removed waypoint is on. Was trying to help you out if there was so show actual access to the area. Guessing by your response there is no actual pedestrian access to this island area in the middle of the street. Anyways good luck to you.
Which, by the way, I don’t even know if pedestrian access is the reason it was removed. I’m just guessing, as are you.
Yes, countless hours of free labor devoted.
You’re exactly right, that was a lazy turn of Phrase on my part. Since I do not know why it was removed, I just threw a “catch all” term out there that really has no meaning beyond the fact that the reviewing community decides whether or not it meets criteria
Thanks for the reply 👍 I usually include exact criteria(s) met in my Supporting so "all criteria met" nominations make me chuckle and wonder sometimes about the validity of the claim. No disrespect was meant by asking.
Niantic mods are really flakey on that they appeal or don't. If it meets criteria, it can always be re-nominated.
This is an open forum and anyone is allowed to comment on appeals. Often, the only way someone will know why a Wayspot was removed or why an appeal will be rejected is from comments of other forum member. Niantic will only state that the appeal is accepted or rejected without ever explaining why.
Just to note that if a pedestrian must leave the crosswalk to be able to physically reach the object, then the object does not have safe pedestrian access. Being close is simply not enough. This also holds true when an object is a few meters down grassy medium where the crosswalk crosses the medium.
Maybe you need some reading comprehension, but no one admitted to not knowing the rules, it was a discussion about the general misconception among reviewers. Please re- read the discussion and make sure you know what you're talking about before making public accusations.
Edited as it was taken care of, thanks Niantic.
Do you always get an answer one way or another?
Are you asking Niantic or anyone?
It looks like eventually most people get an answer either way but it might take a little bit
