Add me to that, just noticed my stats were also reset. Submissions are still visible (even that they were upgraded) and the recon medal in Ingress still has my stats, but I had to redo my test and everything was set to zero.

That's hopeful. I hope @NianticAtlas @NianticAaron @NianticAaron do something for it and won't leave it to "investigating".
People should have the choice do delete an Ingress/PoGo account without losing their Wayfarer progress. We have spent time and effort.

Add me to the list. Had my Ingress account deleted today and log onto Wayfarer and everything is reset. I was getting close to having everything upgraded and now this. And it's been an issue for a year with no fix. That is unacceptable.
Today is the anniversary. 1 year ago today, my account with about 9000 ratings, 2700 accepted nominations, 2200 rejected nominations and 300 duplicates was reset just because I had a level 2 Ingress account deleted that had nothing to do with Wayfarer.
Niantic did nothing at all to help me this year. Support has stated that one has nothing to do with the other and nothing has been done here on the forum to resolve the issue either.
A number of other users have joined in the meantime.

Adding myself to this list. I had an accidentally created Pokemon Go account via my Google account and asked for this Pokemon account to be deleted. Never ever did it occur to me, that the statistics from my Wayfarer account would also get erased (nominations are still there, luckily). So it seems that this bug still exists.
I had a great rating in Wayfarer with around 10000 wayspots reviewed (5908 in Ingress Recon) and would like to salvage my statistics.
So @NianticAaron @NianticCasey-ING @NianticGiffard any chance to get an update about this issue? It seems that the starter of this topic has waited for over a year (!) to get a decent response.

Also a follow-up question to everyone affected and who have reviewed wayspots after your statistics were deleted. Has that affected your badge in the other game? Has your earlier earned badge increased after starting reviewing from "zero"?
I have a platinum Recon badge in Ingress and I am afraid to review anything before my stats are back to as they were so that I do not magically lose me hard earned badge in Ingress. Has your respective badge in Pokemon Go or Ingress kept increasing if you have started over with the reviews?
My badge in Pogo was also set back to 0.

Yes, that is true. I had my Pokemon account deleted after my own request and my Wayfarer stats got reset to zero after that. However my Ingress badge (Recon) seems to be as it was. I also read in the other thread that doing reviews in Wayfarer increases the Ingress badge normally even if that stats ion Wayfarer are reset. I haven't personally done any reviews after my account was reset.

In 2014 I've tried Ingress, didn't liked it and asked to delete my account.
I play pokemon go, and started reviewing POIs when niantic enabled wayfarer for pokemon players.
Last year, I didn't remember I've asked to delete my ingress account and tried to log in giving it a second chance, but I could not, and since then I'm unable to sign in in wayfarer.

I have the same problem of @dBlaze018-PGO i’ve decided to delete my ingress account years ago and I can’t login into wayfarer (and even on this forum) with my Pokémon go account… i’m using another to write here. It’s ridiculous they don’t even response because they don’t know how to fix it.

Your problem is a bit different. Deleting an account should not cause logging problems, but only your statistics disappear.
Well, I better join this (long!) list after what happened yesterday.
I deleted my PoGo account yesterday and lost access to my Wayfarer account/page. I still have an active Ingress account, and the email I use for Wayfarer and Ingress is the same. It's weird that I can access here an login via Ingress and also I get emails with Wayfarer activity (accepted Wayspot), but I can't access Wayfarer itself.
Action will be appreciated... This whole thread is crazy long and old.
So I got my review history reset and I didn’t delete any account. Had to retake test and lost my platinum badge on Pokémon Go for reviewing. They need to make a way to separate wayfarer from a game so it would fix all of the problems everyone is having. Wayfarer should not be tied to a email address.
I got a reset when I unlinked my Facebook account some time ago. Lost my badge also, which was Gold at the time, I think. It seems ridiculous that it has to be like that. There MUST be better solutions.
I think it would be difficult if it's not tied to email though, because how can they know we are the right players/Wayfinders then? But it def. shouldn't have to be this full of bugs and there def. should be motivation for finding a fix for this.
Curious too about the silence from Niantic in this thread. 🤨
