Title & description changes not saving

Thread title explains it.
I make a change to the title and/or description to my Wayfarer nominations. It appears to correctly save, but if I log out and log back in the text has reverted.
Supporting text does appropriately save.
@NianticCasey-ING please understand this can be critical for MANY people, especially those who use "placeholder" text when nominating, or the many who simply go back to improve text after a few days. Failure to offer a quick resolution and/or PUBLIC STATEMENTS to let people know of potential issues is not acceptable. @NianticGiffard @NianticAaron @NianticAtlas whoever weekend @Support is.

Same here. And after many attempts now I get this error (my nomination is still in queue, I should be allowed to edit it):

That's strange. My edits visually took and I didn't get the error you are showing. I did double check just now.
When the Wayforum moderators band clearly seen these threads to approve photos being added to posts, it makes it even more disheartening that they won't comment on the situation here or to the general public 🙃
After an hour the edits were applied correctly. Seems that the system is extremelly slow right now.
Several hours later and mine still aren't. You may have had a different issue.
Same is happening for me - only the supporting info is saving - upgrades are being applied to my subs already - can this please be looked in to? I really don’t want my stuff going into voting with wasted upgrades applied when there is just holding text
I have the same thing happening to my description edits of my nominations. I noticed that the description reverts back to the original (even after it visually shows the new edit correctly saved) after refreshing the page when I check spelling and grammar on my descriptions. As stated above, the new supporting that was saved, at the same time as the new description, shows.
I like to use place holder text in the description and supporting when nominating, like "playground at park" or "church", and go in once at home to add all the details in, like " Large playground at ____ park located near the back of the park. Playground includes..." or "Local church of God with a community goal of...". This is also helpful in areas of low cell services as after having the app crash over 10 times when nominating or have the nomination spin but never submit for over an hour, it can be frustrating to type everything back out. This helps streamline the process by being able to edit the description and supporting over WiFi.
I understand your sentiment, @Gendgi-PGO, thanks for surfacing this. I have shared this with our team right away to see what's wrong and to have this fixed ASAP.
Here also: supporting text is back, but the description is still the initial placeholder text.
Meanwhile 2 affected nominations are several days in voting with I suppose a bunch of 1* for title/text. What about that?
Same is happening to me now. Edited title and description keeps reverting to original after saving and refreshing the page but supporting information edits works.
Make the changes, and then log out for an hour. It's been working for me but it'll take an hour or longer to update.
There's some serious latency issues going on.

Thanks for the additional information on the latency @Gendgi-PGO, that's an interesting development. The Wayfarer engineering team is still looking into the cause of the issue but I will be adding it to the known issues page shortly.

Same problem here, title and description changes resets when I refresh the page. Anyway the workaround from @Gendgi-PGO works. I save the edits and then I close the page (without logging out, just closing Wayfarer), after 30 to 60 minutes title and descriptions are updated. Still very annoying.

Hi @NianticCasey-ING , I still have this issue. I change description or title to a nomination and it revert to the old ones when I refresh. I noticed that they change after around one hour though, even if I refresh the page or I browse around the Wayfarer in the meanwhile.
This issue is not resolved. My edits made this morning to the titles, description, and/or supporting information are not being updated or simply blank when I come back and check them. The nominations were made today as well, if it helps.
I'm also having the same problems today with edits not being saved to titles/description/supporting information. Definitely not resolved yet. Very bad lag (at least) taking place.
I submitted another nomination today at 7:36 am. The picture of the nomination is not showing as of 8:06 am. Only the surrounding area photo is displaying. Only my edit to the supporting information is saving. Edits to the title and description or not.
I just tried making an edit to a queued nomination. It looked like it took, but I logged out and back in and the original text was still present.
Just subbed 3 things today, can confirm the bug is NOT fixed, I can edit the supporting info, but any changes to the title and/or description does not save after pressing the Save button.
@NianticCasey-ING what info do you need? I can provide screenshots if required to help find an example submission of this.
Can not edit my nomination today. The bug is definitely not fixed. Please fix it asap.

@NianticCasey-ING Seems this bug is resilient. I am experiencing this issue at the moment. I withdrew a submission and edited 2 others on my PCs web browser. Then I did a new submission using the Ingress Prime app. After navigating away, then back to the nominations page, my withdrawn submission is still active, all the edits to the other 2 submissions are missing, and my new submission is not showing. I've been refreshing for about 30 mins and no change.
Same to me today for the first time. I appearently edited my nominations, but when I logout and I login they look like if they weren't edited.
Different issue coming up now. I have seen two of my friends nominations where the supporting information fields is cutting off exactly at 280 characters. I reached out to them and confirmed that they edited the nomination fields on Wayfarer after submitting, so the supporting information should not be cutting off. It should be showing the ... and display the entire text when a reviewer taps the text, but it does not. I am reviewing on a mobile device.

100% not fixed what so ever. Some seem to be saving but only after several goes at it. This is ridiculous people are going to have nominations rejected because of this problem. I have been trying to edit a description on one of my nominations just now and it just will not save. Sometimes it won’t even let you save it at all with the “done” button not even working. Here’s an idea instead of “working on a fix” all the time why not stop breaking things this system is hard enough relying on idiots to review your nominations without the people who run it breaking it and making it harder. Will we get rejected nominations back?? Doubt it.
Just adding my voice, the issues is still not fixed. I had it yesterday and again today.
Slight update, the edits to titles and desc is saving, however it appears the changes we make are potentially "queued" in Niantics database, edits I've made do appear, but they appear like 2-3hrs later.
This could be an issue if something moves from queue into voting before the updated text changes take effect, leading to something being rejected because the text is still placeholder if the submitter doesn't realize.
I am currently experiencing this issue as well. I put placeholder names in many of my descriptions and names and none of them are saving, so a quick resolution would be appreciated, as I spent a few hours today submitting things and if all that work goes to waste, that would be unacceptable.
Edit: Seems that there may be a database delay of some sort happening as the edits appear to have saved, upon looking a little while later.
