And also, using the term “people” to indicate that others have done something, does not indicate guilt of the person who is pointing out those actions. Thank you
In addition, let me address how you followed my family around while we were on vacation (you’re kind of a stalker, very creepy) (and you claim to know where I live, seriously? This is worrisome for me. Good thing I have a good home security system) what I DID do while on vacation, was have a lovely time. And I enhanced the community by nominating the Tarpon Springs Aquarium, which is a great place. You should go visit. They allow you to feed their animals such as sting rays, turtles, and alligators. Very informative. Any who, my offer to help with portals was genuine, why did you assume otherwise? I noticed Fred Howard Park has lots of opportunities, pavilions and playgrounds and such. Sadly, I did not have time to make those nominations. Perhaps on my next vacation.
A community deciding to go against Niantic’s eligibility guidelines (the aerator fountain) and Niantic’s reviewing guidelines by moving the pin away from the poi’s real world location (the plaque in the lake) is abuse.
I also consider spreading and supporting misconceptions about the criteria regarding plazas, to set a precedent, abuse.
I do not think having an alt pogo account is abuse, as it is so commonplace it should have been stopped long ago if there was an issue. I don’t even think it’s abuse to sub a few things on an alt account if your main runs out of submissions. However, I think numerous community members reviewing on 3-6 (or more with MetroWest) alt accounts to give their own submissions stars is abuse of alt accounts.
When you attacked me and my team's ingress portals every few hours for three days straight, yeah, I had a pretty good idea of where you were. Thats not "following you around", that's you openly letting me know where you are. If you don't want people to know where you, I would suggest playing less Ingress, because Comms and Intel and there for a reason and that is a big part of the game.
I only know where you live because you had a cluster of 3 fake portals in your driveway, and when those three fake portals got removed, they were replaced with three more fake portals in under a week. Considering you had already openly told us that you lived in that area and that nominations from that area were probably you, it became very obvious that was where you lived. This is one of the many reasons why Niantic doesn't want people putting Wayspots on PRP. You have no one to blame for that but yourself.
Thanks for confirming that that was you that offered to submit more portals in Tarpon Springs though. That should help Niantic link your alt accounts together much easier.
The portal at the aquarium was a duplicate by the way, it's already been removed and merged into the old aquarium portal now that the existing portal was moved to the new location of the aquarium.
This would be true and ok if the community didnt have a history of abuse, in the end Niantic will decide if it stays which Andis just brought to their attention to look at, not to straight up remove.
Yeah. I reread and saw the update. I think it’s great that shopping plaza are now eligible. It just hard that we keep adding qualifiers where they are not added. I also think it’s hard sometime because it seems like we are talking at people and not listening or acknowledging what we are saying.
my understanding is with the clarification:
Shopping plaza SHOULD be eligible AND SHOULD have multiple stores and shops. PROVIDED they follow the criteria to be a way stop (socialize, exercise, explore).
So example. I live close to two shopping plazas. One has a athletic gym, numerous local restaurants, local barber shop and cafe. I would submit or if submitted would review favorable. The other has one or two local store but is majority generic business. That does not meet the criteria and eligibility so I would review unfavorable. It would not qualify and I would not submit to be a nomination.
Everythig else I see is qualifiers. I believe that clairification is black and white and I think my method is narrowly tailored to what I believe they want me to review
The community voting in the fountain directly goes against Niantic’s guidelines
I will talk about below
You were an active part of our community, we didn’t suddenly forget everything that was ever posted. Tag mentioned reviewing on more than one alt account on numerous occasions and you posted your reviews with at least 7 different identifying discs. I noticed 2 prior to this but never cared to notice exactly how many as I trusted your intentions.
Yes, thank you for mentioning this, I was an active part of that conversation. I agree that some plazas can make good candidates but people spreading information that every plaza with only generic shops or offices inside is eligible goes against this last statement by Niantic.
Maybe the 3rd Party one from Mount Everest was placed there by Niantic. Some of such areas had preperated POIs with 3rd party pictures. Also, Niantic used a 3rd party photo as a new photo for a Photoshopped image (the same picture just that someone photoshopped an ENL symbol on it)
I’m sorry “attacking your teams portals every few hours for three days “. Isn’t that the game? I wasn’t trying to hide the fact that I was in town, enjoying vacation. As a matter of fact, I think you or one of your followers took it as an opportunity to “frame” me. The only portal I nominated was the aquarium, which is in a new location, by the way. You’re saying they moved that portal? Because that’s weird.

Yeah, that's the game, and that was my point. You were the one who accused me of "stalking" you for some reason, which is why I brought that up.

This part is just plain funny.
The only portal I nominated was the aquarium, which is in a new location, by the way. You’re saying they moved that portal? Because that’s weird.
Niantic moved the old portal for the Aquarium that was at the old location at the Sponge Docks and put it at the new location down the street. They then took the new portal at the new location (that apparently you created), and merged it into the original portal, because it was a duplicate.
Also, the aquarium might be the only thing you nominated on this account, but you and I both know that this isn't your only account. You already admitted to using your Ingress account to send that Comms message about submitting in Tarpon Springs, but that account isn't attached to this Pogo account. Given that Niantic already has punished or banned 27+ accounts in the course of resolving this abuse, another alt account certainly isn't out of the question.
Apologies for the delay, @AisforAndis-ING. We have reviewed the report and have taken action on the 48 Wayspots and 15 Wayfinders in accordance with our policies. While we are unable to discuss our actions in detail to protect the submitter’s privacy, they may include, but are not limited to, sending a warning message, placing restrictions on their Wayfarer, Pokémon GO, or Ingress account, putting their account on probation, or placing a temporary or permanent suspension on their Wayfarer, Pokémon GO or Ingress account. Thanks for helping us maintain the quality of the Wayspots.
Thanks @NianticGiffard, can you share if that action was just taken recently or if it was taken back when I filed this report? These people are still up their abuse and I'm on the verge of reporting again with all the new stuff.

1) the community voted in the fountain, I’m sorry but that’s just the reality
2) it’s not a misconception about plazas, it’s reality
3) no one has said, or suggested, that people are using 3-6 alt accounts to review. How on earth would you know that? You don’t.
I only wanted to mention that we just get explanation about shopping plazas criteria in another thread here: https://community.wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/discussion/10030/need-clarification-about-shopping-plaza#latest
shopping plazas are eligible. an easy 5* in my country.
who told you otherwise, shouldn't be reviewing.

The first one is straight-up the height of Mt. Everest which is weird, but I found the third party photo.
@NianticAtlas@NianticGiffard the Mount Everest portal's cover photo is a third party photo.
https://signsofthemountains.com/collections/recreation-signs/products/mount-everest-sign
In Addition, this close by Mount Everest Camp photo appears to be a marker for a mountain in the Adirondacks.

Maybe, but with a fake portal right next to it,might as well flag both of them just in case Niantic didn't intend it.
