Why is the word “socialise” now a banned word in descriptions ????

Recently I noticed that when using the word “socialise” in descriptions, for example “This park is a great place to explore and socialise with friends” the edit does not save. Or it does not submit if using the word in the description section while submitting the nomination. I’m pretty sure the word isn’t a swear word and it helps demonstrate that things meet criteria. Needs looking into. If I remove this word the description edit saves when pressing done. I just don’t understand what’s going on anymore.

I believe it's because "socialise" contains "cialis", which apparently is type of v.i.a.g.r.a. This thing is getting quite ridiculous, I recently made another tread pointing out some common Italian words that are banned but it was ignored by Niantic...
Hahahaha 😂 😂 really. That is ridiculous. Why don’t they just leave it to the reviewers. If a naughty word is spotted then reviewers can reject the nomination. Surly the whole word should not be getting banned just the word you mentioned. I give up.
Thanks for flagging! @fpopp21-PGO is correct that a fragment of the word socialise contained a word that was on our list of inappropriate terms. We've modified the list to allow for the use of socialise. We are also aware of your thread of common Italian terms @fpopp21-PGO and are reviewing it for potential similar adjustments.
Unfortunately, there are requirements from our legal team to monitor for certain words to create a positive environment within all Niantic products (like Ingress COMM for example) so we're not able to just rely on reviewers to flag inappropriate content.

Thanks for the reply and the work, @NianticCasey-ING! I understand it may not be easy, but I hope at least it can be made more functional.
I also had a problem with the Portuguese word "condomínio" (it means apartment complex, but I believe it's banned because of the condom part).
@NianticCasey-ING Can the lawyers/executives not recognize the distinction between ‘live’ chat and curated Points of Interest?
Is there really no better way of preventing a POI being named “Wanna buy some Oxy?” than banning those letters everywhere?
