I dont know whether there have been any Ingress rewards at all yet. However, I dont think that you will get 20 Upgrades, more likely 10 maximum.
It is indeed what is written in the revised rewards for 7000+ wayspots approved: 10 upgrades for ingress, 10 upgrades for Pokemon Go. If one plays both games, makes sense to get both rewards fully, as written by Niantic itself.
It does not say:
- Wayfarer: 10 upgrades
- Pokemon Go: 100 Pokéballs, 2 Super Incubators, 2 Incense, 2 Premium Raid Pass
- Ingress: 40 Resonators, 40 Hypercubes, 6 Rare Heat Sinks, 6 Rare Multi-Hacks, 6 SoftBank Ultra Links
Instead it links the upgrade rewards separately to both games. I made an extra effort to mass review to get 20 much needed upgrades, and now I got half of it.
Maybe be patient? The rewards are still being rolled out

Yes, saw it now as well. Haven't received anything yet for Ingress.

I already received the rewards only from Ingress and 10 Wayfarer upgrades. My situation is the same: I play both games.
My hope lies in the fact that they're from Niantic but different teams, Ingress and Pokémon GO. The Ingress reawards was announced by NianticBrian, for example. So, I'll wait for my PoGo rewards for a while.
We worked hard in these challenge and we deserve both rewards.
same for me...no email from ingress...nothing in game in pogo..i use the same email...I got the upgrades though
I play both games, got rewards for both games but only 10 upgrades so far. The rewards were listed as 10 upgrades for each game, so I'm hoping the other 10 upgrades will be given out soon? Or at least an explanation / clarification.
You play both games, but you only have one wayfarer account... Because wayfarer is e-mail based, and linked to the same mail. So it's not that you reviewed 2x.
I read the rewards like they are listed "you'll earn pokeballs, incubators, .... AND 10 wayfarer upgrades" + "you'll earn resonators, weapons, ... AND 10 wayfarer upgrades"
The items all have " , " between them. The upgrade part has a " and ". Technicaly you received all the items in both games .... And 10 wayfarer upgrades.

So, you wrote "And 10 Wayfarer upgrades" twice (That's x2 incase you dont know Tabuada do Ratinho). 10x2 = 20. There are 10 upgrades missing. It's simple math and simple wording.
Must have been an "oversight" at the office as per usual, or bad phrasing, which is nothing short of standard in Niantic.
I don't think it was ever intended to be 10 for each game. It's 10 and that's it.
They should make it more clear in next challenges.
Then, as any respectable company should do, they should man up for their mistake, give everyone who plays both games 20 Upgrades (This literally costs them A GRAND TOTAL OF 0 DOLLARS), and maybe pick up a dictionary for next time.
It's not like they're giving away extra Bitcoin or assets, it's upgrades that have less value than pigeon poop on Trafalgar Square.
@NianticAaron @NianticCasey-ING @NianticGiffard leave the Mario Kart race and acknowledge this situation.
They first need to focus on the dozens of people that are complaing because they didn't get any rewards at all.
Anyway, it's very sad to see people accusing them of "robbing" upgrades when it was clearly never their intention to give 20 upgrades.
Hello everyone, I'll clarify this. The reward every user is eligible for is indeed 10 Upgrades and not 20 (10 for both apps). We apologize for the confusion and any inconvenience caused due to this.
Your example is very biased and it seems like you are attempting to defend Niantic while throwing the playerbase under the bus. If they never intended to give 20 Upgrades (Again, not BTC, not a house, UPGRADES that have 0 value), then it should have been clearly stated. The way the announcement was made, it's not farfetched to read it and assume you would be getting 20.
It's not like we're not doing their job for free as it stands, while the company is reaping the profits. So, yeah, the expression "robbing" is quite fitting, and i'm sorry if you think otherwise.
I got my 10 upgrades and rewards for both games and that's pretty much all I was expecting. Nia are notorious for not quite phrasing things right. Just because you play both games doesn't mean you put in twice the Wayfarer reviews during the challenge. If you got your in game rewards for both games then count yourself lucky as some people didn't get any.
Let's be honest, everybody with half a working brain would understand that you get 10 upgrades for your wayfarer account. You play PoGo and Ingress? Doesn't matter, you have only one wayfarer account.
Ok. I will quit my very well paid job at niantic wayfarer after 19215 reviewes, because I don’t understand Niantic language.
Yes Niantic loves much more multi accounting players and spoofers, I have no doubt.
