Hello Bannato-PGO, it is peculiar that a Pokemon go player is asking for a removal of a wayspot :-) and especially with pictures taken from an Ingress scanner :-))

You are right, the wayspots names are the same, but in this case it's easier to ask for a wayspot rename than a wayspot removal.

Furthermore these wayspots are located inside an amusement park, a place that perfectly meets the Niantic wayspot requirements.

    I suggest you to:

    1. Rename both wayspot with a more specific name, such as "Ferris wheel" ("Ruota panoramica" in Italian) and "Carousel and Roller Coaster" ("Giostra e ottovolante" in Italian).

    2. Move the wayspot you are asking to remove a little bit inside the amusement park, placing the wayspot where the picture was taken.

    3. Ask for more wayspot inside the amusement park, this is "A great place to be social with others", as stated in the Wayfarer Eligibility Criteria.

    Have a nice day :-)

As you said, wayspots are the same.

    So it's not valid.

Well, i said that the -names- are the same; the wayspots are different (and permanent) subjects. I had a quick search and i noticed that all the amusement park I checked have more than one single wayspot. As said, I suggest you just to change the names of both the Wayspots.

Let's make Niantic be the judge :-)

As far as I remember the parks are obviously considered valid places to place a portal, and the indication is to put the portal at the entrance, not to ask for one portal for each element of the park. This should be the rule also for amusement parks. It is not true that all the elements are permanent, since the attractions can be removed and substituted. The fact that different amusement parks have more than one portals does not mean that this is the rule.

Thanks for the appeal, Trainer. We took another look at the Pokéstop/Gym in question and decided that it does not meet our criteria for removal at this time. However, we have made necessary adjustments to the Pokéstop/Gym.
