The photo above shows the entry point (blueish doors) to the Hippodrome, and proves that the suggested location offers safe access since it has a zebra crossing, a bike lane and a sidewalk leading up to it.

It also shows some of the tables of the restaurant (which is marked in Maps) that is across the suggested location, proving that the location as seen from the photos and the map, is accurate.

Based on the Maps view below, you can see that the current location isn't accessible now, since it is in the middle of the track and no one can safely walk to it. It is at least 100m away from any sidewalk and almost 200m from the actual entrance/suggested location.

As seen in the photos, there aren't any safe ways to access the nomination now that it's placed in the middle of the track, and leaving it in that location can be proven to be dangerous, since some may try to walk across the race track, which is forbidden for non-authorized personnel.

By moving the access point to the suggested location, visitors can explore the place, enter through the blue gates and stay in the designated area that oversees the stadium.

In addition, as you can see on the street view above, the tag on the location is marked as "Nicosia Race Club" which are the offices/club that run the races, not the actual track.

And based on the photo from Ingress below, there's already an accepted POI with that name, located to the south of the stadium.

The location of the nomination should not be in the middle of the track, but where it was originally submitted, and would be safely accessible to everyone.
