No, but someone put the pin for the playground on the basketball court. You should request that it be moved to the playground so then you could nominate the basketball court.
-
I think I know what this is because it happened to someone else. If you come across an edit where one of the choices is “move to the south” or something like that, you are supposed to report it and not just click one of the choices. They consider this incorrect reviewing.

I think they were being sarcastic.

Yes
-
Yes very common.
-
What I mean is, it might not even show up in the game because it shares a cell with another pokestop. If that is the case you may be putting in a lot of effort for nothing.
-
Are you even sure this would show up in Pokémon go? It looks like the old City Hall is already in the game.
-
It’s best not to dwell too much on the rejection reasons. If you read through these forums, you will see people posting many many examples of rejection reasons that make no sense. It is speculated that only one reviewer has to click that for it to show up as a reason.
-
That painting has a much higher chance of being accepted.
-
Do any of the doors have signs on them?
-
Is there any kind of sign on the building that indicates it is a city hall? Unfortunately it looks like an apartment building.
-
Wow good job of scaring off good reviewers. Based off of one person's complaint probably. (I mean niantic is scaring them) I realized it might seem like I was saying the poster was scaring them)

Believe it or not, Wayfarer doesn't determine what becomes a pokestop and what doesn't. Each game decides this independently of Wayfarer. (And when I say"decides", it's an automatic process). So no one in this forum could do what you are asking.
-
I don't see that wayspot in the database.

There is no clear answer for "when does corporate art become eligible"? It's hard to define. But I know it when I see it. Paintings or banners on the wall of different vegetables doesn't look like art to me. But murals that look hand drawn, even if they are reproductions, and exist in every store, starts to look like real…

Your nomination is confusing. The title says you are nominating a recreation entrance. Yet you describe the history of the steps. And there appears to be a beautiful building in the background. Either nominate the entrance (which will probably be denied quite honestly) or the steps, or the building, or all three. But make…

You have to understand, the ambassador who originally requested the deletion of the portal no doubt has been in private conversations with the Wayfarer team probably bullying them into doing his bidding.
-
Is there anything inside the building that might qualify? A game room, notice boards, murals, etc?
-
I agree this situation is utterly ridiculous. They should just have their own staff create routes.
-
I've seen dog parks and basketball courts and historic arches denied on appeal. I wouldn't put too much emphasis on what gets accepted or rejected on appeal.
-
Oh interesting, I didn't even notice that. I wonder what makes the heart in the torso?
-
But is it intended as art? Or just a coincidence that it looks like a face? I think this matters. Topiaries can technically be cut down but I think they still quantify as art.
-
Well BosonBlue gives the impression that local reviewers are likely to approve. Maybe try again but don't upgrade?
-
@smantz0rZ-PGO was it upgraded?
-
Do you mind translating?
-
A little bird told me it would work out. But the real elephant in the room is the fact that this nomination was not fishy at all. I wish I could have been a fly on the wall when they were making their decision. Anyway, quit horsing around and go make more nominations.
-
So a forum where there are different opinions than yours is not useful? Then what is the point of having a discussion forum?
-
I thought you said every park needs a sign or a digital government sign or something like that?

I don’t understand the attitude of “If I can’t reach it, it shouldn’t be the game”. That’s a very immature attitude, much like a child who says if I can’t have it, no one should. Why shouldn’t a gated community member be able to access a pokestop or portal at a playground within their community? The criteria of a great…
