Let me throw it back to you. Why do you think it meets criteria? What is your understanding of the criteria?
-
Portals are allowed to be on private property. Just not on private residential property.
-
Yeah, anytime someone says “I’m not trying to” “I have no intention” “I don’t mean to”, that’s exactly what they were trying to do.
-
You know this thread is two years old?
-
I doubt you’re going to get an answer from Niantic. The people (or robots, or monkeys?) who process appeals aren’t the employees (unpaid interns) who interact in this forum (real people).

Are there Trail markers on the trails?
-
I see several temples and mosques.
-
This is just a shame that this got rejected. I don’t really know how to help.
-
I think every time someone adds an edit request to an existing edit request, it starts the whole voting process over again.

I apologize for not answering. I’m sorry I could not translate from the pictures. And also, my translation tool on my phone gave me some weird sentences that I didn’t understand. It said the reasons for denial were for plaque or people and I didn’t understand that.

Some things in the countryside might qualify but not very many things unfortunately. Obviously we don’t want to know where you live, but we would need a general idea of where to look for eligible nominations. And just in case you don’t know, the criteria for a pokestop is a great place to socialize, exercise, or explore.
-
If I understand this correctly, you cannot find a category for a nomination you are proposing. In that case I just use “other”. And sometimes the placement pin snaps back to where you are standing instead of being on the object you are trying to nominate? Yes that is frustrating. Not sure what the solution to that is.
-
@27Delight-PGO I’ve looked around Ojai and there are SO MANY easily eligible things that aren’t in the game yet (example: so many Tennis courts) why are you stressing over these borderline nominations? Go for the easy ones.
-
I’m not saying I agree with this, but this is what I’ve heard other people say. Signs like that seem to be directional signs pointing you to an object (such as a trail) and aren’t technically a trail marker.

I can’t believe these words made it past the censor!

I just thought of something. Somewhere it was stated that AI was going to start kicking out nominations that have previously been rejected. Do you think that is what happened here?
-
There’s a bug that you have to take the test in English.
-
This whole “it has to have won awards” mentality is frustrating to me. Someone said it, someone else repeated it, and now everything thinks it’s the criteria. That’s not the criteria. The criteria is a great place to be social. Yes, it is very difficult to convey that in the confines of the nomination. But I never limit my…

Are you able to show the street sign and the garden in the second photo? I suspect that people can’t verify that the garden is actually there since it does not show in satellite view nor street view.
-
The best advice I can give you is to improve the nomination and try again. First, I would focus more on the sign and show less surroundings. Description: (example) airport on joint base Pearl Harbor is a transportation hub used by many to explore the world. Supplemental : (example) an airport makes a great wayspot because…

Would you mind translating what the sign says?
-
You are correct that it should not have been denied for poor quality photo. With that being said, there is room for improvement if you would like some advice and then try again.
-
These are often called story trails because you are meant to walk along and read each one. It’s not misleading, it’s accurate.
-
Yes but wayspots have to have pedestrian access. We are not supposed to take parking and/or cars into consideration when voting. A pedestrian can walk away from the hydrant if they are somehow blocking it.

Would still like to see the photo though.
